In mid-August, Robert Kraft invited Attorney General Maura Healey for breakfast at his Chestnut Hill home. Healey wanted to launch an educational initiative that would teach high school students about teen dating violence, dangerous relationships, and respect for women. Kraft wanted to fund programs that would raise awareness about domestic violence and sexual assault, while fostering cultural change.

As the new school year begins, you might like to be updated on some school happenings that will no doubt be repeated this academic year. After this update, I have some questions one might ask the black leadership. The ongoing and escalating assault on primary- and secondary-school teachers is not a pretty sight. Holly Houston is a post-traumatic stress specialist. She counsels teachers in Chicago public schools and reported, "Of the teachers that I have counseled over the years who have been assaulted, 100 percent of them have satisfied diagnostic criteria for PTSD." It's not just big-city schoolteachers traumatized. Dr....

An Egyptian billionaire’s offer to buy a Mediterranean island for refugees from the war-torn Middle East region to inhabit and build a new country was not well received by the intended beneficiaries. “Building a new country is too much work,” complained Muhammad Moosheer. “Why can’t we go to countries that will give us food and houses? Why should we be denied the benefits that America or Germany grant to their people?” US President Obama agreed, calling the job of building a new country from the ground up “daunting. Frankly, the idea makes no sense. There’s no need to reinvent the...

The slender body of a 14-year-old boy, not yet stiff with death, is dragged from the back of a coroner’s van onto a metal gurney, still wet with the fluids of its last passenger. Medics shuffle the other body carts, left then right then left again, lifting and rolling the plastic-wrapped corpses from one gurney to another to make room for the next body. It is early in the afternoon at the Institute of Legal Medicine in El Salvador’s volatile capital city, on what will become one of the most violent days of the most violent year in the most...

Early on in the AMC series “Mad Men,” a young, ambitious Peggy Olson defends her ad idea to Don Draper, assuring him, “Sex sells.” He barely hides his disappointment before brushing this aside, “Says who? Just so you know, the people who talk that way think that monkeys can do this.” Don was on to something. New research suggests that sex, in fact, does not sell—and neither does violence. A recent meta-study by Robert Lull and Brad Bushman of The Ohio State University, published in the journal Psychological Bulletin, looked at 53 experiments to analyze the effects of sexual and...

(...) Following the on-air shooting of two television reporters in Roanoke, Virginia, she declared: “I feel just great heartache at what happened. I want to reiterate how important it is [that] we not let yet another terrible instance go by without trying to do something more to prevent this terrible killing that is stalking our country.” She added: "We have got to do something about gun violence in America — and I will take it on." She said the same thing back in July, in an obvious shift away from avoiding Second Amendment issues during the presidential campaign to avoid...

Radio Host Calls For Race War: “It’s About To Go Down, It’s Open Season On Killing White People and Crackers” Steve Watson September 2nd, 2015 In a disgusting audio broadcast via blogtalkradio yesterday, an individual who admitted affiliation with the Black Lives Matter movement called for listeners to murder white people and police, declaring it “open season” for such executions. The host stated that there will be more killings of cops and white people in general by black people, who will kill one by one. “It’s open season on killing whites and police officers and probably killing cops period. It’s...

Ridiculous stories about political correctness float around the Internet like so much ocean garbage. Occasionally, one washes up on "Good Morning America" with a larger story to tell. A little girl named Laura was sent home with a note because she had brought a Wonder Woman lunchbox to school. (The website The Mary Sue first reported the story, from a post on the social media site Imgur.) In the letter addressed to Laura's parents, the school explained: "The dress code we have established requests that the children not bring violent images into the building in any fashion -- on their...

All lives matter. That saying this is in any way controversial is a testament to just how far we’ve fallen as a nation. But we didn’t fall, per se; we were pushed. Money is the greatest motivator humans have, and progressives have monetized misery. And they’re pumping a lot of money into it to grow the business. The so-called “Black Lives Matter” movement has been co-opted by white progressives to drive a wedge between Americans for the benefit of the Democratic Party. The media is all too happy to play along. If BLM and the media actually cared about lives...

By Alexandra Ulmer and Diego Oré September 2, 2015 VALENCIA/CARACAS (Reuters) - When a man they believed to be a thief sneaked into their parking lot in the Venezuelan city of Valencia, angry residents caught him, stripped him and beat him with fists, sticks and stones. They tied him up and doused him in gasoline, according to witnesses, in one of what rights groups and media reports say are an increasing number of mob beatings and lynchings in a country ravaged by crime. That August night, as locals say is common, three people had sneaked into Valencia's Kerdell residential block....

GENEVA, September 1, 2015 - UN Watch released a new report today documenting 12 different Facebook accounts operated by UNRWA officials (see images below) that openly incite to antisemitism and terrorism, and urged UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and UNRWA chief Pierre Krähenbühl to terminate the responsible officials, condemn the offending posts, and establish a commission of inquiry, comprised of representatives of top donor states (see chart at right), to investigate the culture of impunity for perpetrators of racism and incitement that pervades UNRWA. “The pattern and practice of UNRWA school principals, teachers and staff members posting antisemitic and terror-inciting images...

Pretenders lead singer claims sexual assault in the 1970s was her own ‘fault’ because of the way she was dressed Women who walk around drunk and provocatively dressed should expect to be sexually assaulted, Chrissie Hynde, the lead singer of the Pretenders, has suggested. The former chart topper claimed in a Sunday newspaper interview that scantily clad women were likely to “entice a rapist” and that it is their “fault” if they are attacked. She discloses in a new memoir how she was abducted and sexually assaulted by a motorcycle gang in Ohio in the early 1970s – but concludes...

In a wide-ranging conference call with the Black Press, the Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan said the upcoming “Justice or Else” rally set for October 10 celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Million Man March is just the beginning of the movement. Benjamin F. Chavis, Jr., president and CEO of the NNPA and the national director of the 1995 Million Man March, moderated the call, fielding pooled questions from dozens of publishers and editors from Black newspapers across the country. Farrakhan said that walking down the steps of the United States Capitol building and seeing Black men standing together,...

Ann Coulter is going to be on the Megyn File....so I tuned in. The murdered girl's father and boy friend made a joint appearance....they really seemed to be almost comfortable. Now look, we all mourn differently...yet the two seemed so at ease on the subject. Maybe the shock of what happened has them in a daze. But at the end of the interview, the father vowed to "shame" people into accepting gun control....but he DID speak about guns being kept out of the hands of mentally ill people. I thought the law already did that. Now Megyn has a former...

Like many of my comrades, original Black Panther Party members, I have for years watched these strutting caricatures who call themselves the New Black Panther Party and expressed my disgust. First of all, I say there is no such thing as a “New” Black Panther Party. If this group is anything, it is a collective of racist, reactionary thugs and tools of the still-very-much-alive Cointelpro government agency. Like others, I have had to explain to many folks, who are not aware of what the Black Panther Party was about, what our original BPP history and legacy is and what damage...
