Does anyone have a figure for this on people in the USA if they don't buy a ObamaCare Health Plan? How many out there are without insurance right now that will probably not be able to afford a policy? Also will people be put on probation like a DWI if they are caught not having it? It seems like this will be a money making racket for the court systems and will turn good honest people who are out of work and unable to pay for a plan into being given a criminal record. Anyone care to comment?

If they are a few votes short, but believe that the country is behind them, wouldn't it make more sense to try to get the votes thru normal procedures? The Obamakazis (don't you just love that word!!) know that their collective gooses are cooked unless they actually have a vote.

FReepers - let's get a list of congressional leaders in both houses who are RINO's only - those who pretend to be conservative... We need to know who they are - so we can find conservative challengers to boot them out in the primaries... Let's get a grassroots operation going to educate the public on what conservatism is - visit the Reagan Library, visit heritage.org, etc. I totally agree with Rush's comments over the last two days - conservativism is not dead - people will follow conservatism if they see it in action and not in name only.

What will happend if Obama loses?

The popular vote is irrelevent. It's unlikely McCain will win the popular vote. Obama will likely win California and New York by 25 or 30 points or more. And black turnout in the South will reduce McCain's margins to single digits. But who cares? Whether you win a state by 1% or 20%, a win is a win is a win in the electoral college. Can someone tell me which judges are conserative in Clark County Nevada and in the State also. If there is a conservative voting list can someone please provide that to me, i would be grateful. I am pleading with people who may have decided not to vote McCain because of the screwed up policies that were not conservative to please reconsider and vote for him. Obama is too far left and I don't believe our country could ever bounce back from him being president. I would also vote third party if I didn't see the danger involved with Obama being president. I do not favor amnesty and I know both guys favor it. But McCain is in favor of securing our border, while Obama calls ICE agents terriorists.

Starting about 3 weeks ago it seems Fox has started moving ever so slightly to the left. I don't know if they are afraid of the Fairness Doctrine or what but, other than Hannity, they all seemed resigned to Obama winning. Even Britt Hume's crowd has gone soft. I'm mad as hell about it! My FRiends all you need to know about this election is as follows: You can't win an election by losing 20% of your own base and losing independents. Forget about Gallup or Rasmussen tracking polls and their special sauce weighting for party ID. Rasmussen says today that Obama receives support from only 75% of Democrats and is losing independents by a slight margin, but incredibly, defying laws of math and physics still leads McCain by 4% overall. The high water mark for Democratic votes during a Presidential campaign is 59 million in 2004 and Kerry lost. Are all of those voters going to vote for Obama this year? Kerry although very liberal, was a Vietnam veteran. That made him acceptable to conservative Democrats and they voted for him in droves. Will those same conservative Democrats vote for Obama? If "pro-bono" legal work could be taxed, then organizations such as the ACLU, Sierra Club, ACORN, etc. would need to declare this help as income and report it to the IRS. Also, anyone assisted by the ACLU would have to report this help as income, and would be taxed on it. It might go a long way towards limiting the number of lawsuits filed.
