So, I live in the city. And every couple of months, I’d get a slow leak in one of my tires. I figured that was normal as I work in an area with a highly unusual amount of metal shavings on the pavement. Well, last week, I had another slow leak, so I went to the tire store: “Hey! Mr. Hawthorne!” because if they had a frequent customer program, I’d have a full set of NASCAR tires. The co-owner takes a look at it and says “You’ve already got 3 patches and two nails in there. I can put another...

WEED, California, January 10, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) – After an American pastor refused to bow to pro-LGBT protesters’ demands that he change his church message board, he found the sign in ruins. Homosexuality is still a sin. The culture may change. The Bible does not.”Although he normally changes his sign from week to week, Hoke said he would not take down his message until...

How do you know your church is approved by God? One way is to see it attacked by Satanists on Christmas Eve. My church in San Antonio is a small one, less than 150 members in a quiet non-descript building in a middle-class section of town compared to the many larger churches with massive facilities. I dare say some of you probably live in houses bigger than this church. But we are a church with solid roots in the gospel of Jesus Christ and we've been praying earnestly for God's presence and direction in our lives and growth among our...

The Utah Transportation Commission on Friday approved spending an extra $38 million to cover rising costs for two major upcoming highway projects — on Interstate 15 and Bangerter Highway in Salt Lake County. The increased expenses are caused in part by rising prices to buy and demolish homes and businesses to clear new rights of way. That includes an extra $23 million for a project to convert three more intersections on Bangerter Highway into freeway-like interchanges at 6200 South, 10400 South and 12600 South. Construction on those projects is scheduled to begin in 2020, but purchasing the needed rights of...

A decade before she took an oath to defend and uphold the Constitution, Rep. Krysten Sinema was palling around with anarchists. And while the Arizona Democrat certainly condemns violence now, as a far-left activist, Sinema refused to condemn anarchist destruction of property. Emails from June 2002 and obtained by the Washington Examiner give insight into Sinema's work as a community organizer for the Arizona Alliance for Peaceful Justice. The group, she wrote at the time, “opposed the use of violence and weapons in all situations” and “believes in world disarmament.” For all those high-minded ideals though, Sinema wasn’t ready to...

VANCOUVER, Wash. (KOIN) -- After a couple of drinks at the Garage Bar and Grille, Johnny MacKay did the smart thing. He got in an Uber and headed home, leaving his truck behind in the bar's parking lot. The location of the park job was also intentional: he left his truck under a light, hoping it would deter anyone from breaking into it. The next morning, when he woke up and returned for his car, he found it in ashes. "All of a sudden I saw the tires were melted, the windows were shattered, and I was just in shock,"...
