Obama as new UN Secretary-General and Hillary Clinton ensconced as 45th president of the USA, the world would become Hell on Earth National Post scribes Barbara Kay and Robert Cutler asked in yesterday’s column: ‘Is Obama too busy eyeing a plum post-presidential gig?’ to deal in a more rational fashion with the perpetrators of the Paris terrorist attack. They offer as a hypothesis to their question “as to why he continues to obfuscate the specific nature of the attack, and in a manner consistent with his approach to Islamist terror in generalâ€. (National Post, Nov. 16, 2015) The answer to...

NEW YORK CITY, November 10, 2015 (LifeSiteNews) – "Free and Equal," a United Nations campaign advancing homosexual interests, is using pictures of a candidate for Catholic sainthood, Mother Teresa of Calcutta, and her words to promote its agenda. Susan Yoshihara of C-FAM, The Center for Family and Human Rights, says the whole campaign is a fraud, so it is no surprise that it is misleading people by suggesting that devoutly Catholic Mother Teresa supported the homosexual agenda. "If what this campaign stood for was really true, they wouldn't need to lie about Mother Teresa, who was always faithful to the...

STOCKHOLM (AP) - The U.N.'s environmental authority has quietly raised its assessment of the level at which global greenhouse gas emissions must peak to avoid dangerous climate change, as governments seek a new accord to fight global warming. In its first four annual emissions reports in 2010-2013, the United Nations Environment Program said emissions must not exceed 44 billion tons in 2020 for the world to limit global warming to 2 degrees C (3.6 degrees F).

President Obama addresses workers (White House photo) UNITED NATIONS – The Obama administration’s release Thursday of the more than 2,000 pages of the text of the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement, known more commonly as Obamatrade, has prompted a rash of criticism from both the political left and the right. Critics charge the pact undermines U.S. sovereignty by establishing a secret, unaccountable TransPacific Partnership Commission with sweeping regulatory powers over 40 percent of the world’s economy while sending jobs abroad. “This trade agreement would allow foreign corporations to challenge our health, safety and environmental protections in a foreign tribunal outside our...

New commission can make decisions without even notifying Congress UNITED NATIONS – Congress would be cut out of decisions impacting the nation’s economy and laws under the terms of an international agreement President Obama has negotiated and intends to sign. The pact also essentially moves the nation’s economy out from under the constraints of the U.S. Constitution. The administration on Thursday finally released the text of the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a global regulatory deal it has been negotiating in secret over the last six years. The TPP currently involves 12 countries on four continents. The text reveals the TPP agreement undermines...

Systemic corruption will continue to contaminate the UN as long as it accepts contributions from companies or their affiliated foundations which are motivated to use their contributions as a means to launder their public images, gain unfair advantage Public corruption can appear in various forms. First, individual office holders may violate the public trust, abusing their positions of authority to peddle influence for money. The public institutions which they are supposed to serve may not be inherently corrupt themselves but they may enable such schemes by virtue of inadequate internal controls. Second, and potentially more pernicious, is institutional corruption. This...

George Soros has all sorts of ideas -- dictates, really -- for how Europe must sign up for its demise by importing hordes of Muslims. Soros outlines a six-point plan for civilizational demise in Project-Syndicate, as summarized below, with a bit of commentary in parentheses. The EU must accept a million "asylum-seekers" every year for the foreseeable future. And the EU must pay 15,000 Euros (about $17,000) per invader for at least the first couple of years after they arrive. George strongly urges Europe to make sure these "asylum seekers" get to settle in whichever country and whichever region of...

In an interview with Spanish newspapers that was published October 31st, U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon condemned U.S. President Barack Obama’s demand that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad be removed from office, and Moon said: “The future of Assad must be determined by the Syrian people.†The U.N. Secretary General is here implicitly blaming all of this - lots of blood and misery - on U.S. President Obama, and on the “many Western countries†who ally with him and have joined with him in demanding regime-change in Syria. The position of Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has been, and is, to the...

The UN has accused the Czech Republic of holding desperate refugees in 'degrading' conditions worse than a prison. UN Human Rights chief, Zeid Raad Al Hussein, accused the country of 'systematic' rights violations, where migrants are packed together in camps with a shortage of toilets and beds without blankets. He said the Czech Republic was 'unique' in its routine detention of migrants for long periods, frequently up to 90 days at a time. He also referred to reports migrants had been routinely strip-searched to find money (of 250 Czech crowns or £6.79) to pay for their detention as 'reprehensible'. He...

The United Nations General Assembly has almost unanimously voted to condemn the US embargo on Cuba, in the first such resolution since US-Cuban diplomatic ties were restored earlier this year. The motion won more support than it has done in the past, with 191 members of the 193-member body voting in favour. Only the US and Israel opposed the resolution, which is non-binding.

At a reception held on October 22, 2015, to honor the 70th anniversary of the United Nations, the UN Secretary General’s Special Representative for International Migration, Peter Sutherland, claimed that caps on refugees enforced by certain countries in Europe are “directly reminiscent of the type of caps that took place under the Reich [against] the Jewish population.” This outrageous comparison of good faith attempts to control the tide of mass migration from the Middle East, North Africa and Afghanistan to the plight of Jews during the Holocaust is aimed at browbeating European countries into putting their own citizens in danger...

Despite evidence to the contrary, one commentator recently tried convincing readers that there is no connection between the Department of Justice’s “Strong Cities Network” and the United Nations. “First, it should be noted that Strong Cities Network is NOT a government body at all,” writes Patrick Wood of technocracy.com, “but rather a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with no connection to any government, or even the United Nations!” Wood apparently is projecting his own unfounded hopes on a program that is not only tied to the UN, but is also bound to it by being the source of the globalist philosophy upon...

Seventy years ago today, the UN Charter came into force, thus inaugurating the latest attempt to create a one-world government. Previously, the world tried to achieve that goal by creating the League of Nations — a weak, ineffective body that failed miserably in its charter to keep the peace. Actually, when you think about it, that perfectly describes the UN. But the League actually thought that a blizzard of paper could stand against totalitarians hell bent on world domination so they signed treaty after treaty, inked convention after convention, to try and stop the armies of Hitler, Mussolini, and Tojo...

On September 30, 2015, at the UN, Attorney General Loretta Lynch announced a new worldwide law enforcement initiative, the Strong Cities Network, to be set up in certain American cities. What this actually is is the UN plan for global police, using the Department of Justice. It’s the overriding of American law by the Obama administration in conjunction with the UN, without Congressional input. What’s the initiative all about? Officially, it’s to prevent and combat “violent extremism in all of its forms” without linking it “with any particular religion, nationality or ethnic group.” The emphasis is on inclusiveness, collaboration, and...

Rachel's Tomb, Cave of the Patriarchs now listed as Muslim sites, Israel condemned over Temple Mount 'aggression.' UNESCO (the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization) passed a resolution Wednesday listing the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hevron and Rachel's Tomb in Bethlehem as Muslim sites. The resolution - which passed with 26 in favor, six voted against, and 25 abstentions - condemned Israel for archaeological excavations in the Old City of Jerusalem and particularly near the Temple Mount. An initial draft of the resolution had also called for the Kotel (Western Wall) to be listed as an Islamic site...

The Paris, France-based UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is making “an attempt to distort history” in favor of Palestinians by voting to declare Judaism’s holiest site, the Western Wall, a Muslim holy site. The JTA notes that the proposal seeks to confirm an earlier UNESCO decision that the Cave of the Patriarchs and Rachel’s Tomb–which are two West Bank sites holy to both Jews and Muslims–are part of a Palestinian state. On Friday, a Palestinian mob set fire to the Joseph’s Tomb, a Jewish holy site located in the Fatah-controlled West Bank. Fatah still takes direction from the...

In honor of United Nations Day and the 70th anniversary of the UN's founding, more than 200 iconic monuments and buildings around the world will be lit up in the color “UN blue,” the controversial global organization announced this week. The global elite have never been closer to their goal of a united world. Thanks to a series of interlocking treaties and international agreements, the governance of this planet is increasingly becoming globalized and centralized, but most people don’t seem alarmed by this at all. In the past 30 days, we have seen some of the biggest steps toward a one world government, a one world economy and a one world religion that we have ever witnessed, but these events have sparked very little public discussion or debate. So please share this article with as many people as you...

Erdan says idea "distorted," gives "prize" to terrorists. Israel is working together with the US and “others” to thwart a French initiative to place international observers at the Temple Mount, a senior official in the Prime Minister's Office said Saturday night. The French daily Le Figaro reported Saturday that the French envoy to the United Nations tabled a draft text that would be endorsed by the President of the Security Council – currently Spain – to station “independent observers” on the Temple Mount to “identify possible violations of the status quo.” A senior official in the Prime Minister's Office dismissed...
