Alec Baldwin refuses to turn his phone over to investigators, who have a warrant to seize it. They believe it could provide evidence clarifying the chain of events that led to the shooting death of a cinematographer on the set of the film “Rust” in New Mexico in October. And yet, in a video the actor posted to Instagram, he’s “demanding” law enforcement “honor the death” of the cinematographer, Halyna Hutchins, by finding out “the truth.” Which, presumably, isn’t on his phone. The Instagram video came after a Friday New York Post report in which legal experts contacted by the...

On July 31, 2016, Julian Assange told CNN Wikileaks has more emails pertaining to the Hillary Clinton campaign. Since Wikileaks released the DNC emails the Ecuadorian government has come under extreme pressure to force Assange from their London embassy. Ecuador granted Assange asylum in 2012 and the Wikileaks founder has been holed up in their London embassy ever since. British officials promise to arrest Assange if he leaves the embassy.

The FBI had advance warning of an al-Qaeda plot to bring down a commercial airliner on American soil just weeks before the 1996 TWA 800 crash that claimed 230 civilian lives. Now, a series of previously-confidential FBI documents obtained by investigative journalist Peter Lance and seen by MailOnline, provide compelling evidence that the crash was an act of terror orchestrated by the man now believed by many to be the true architect of 9/11. Speaking to MailOnline Lance said: ‘Who wants to have an act of terror on their watch especially an act of terror where an argument could be...

The office of U.S. Sen. Robert Menendez, D-N.J., issued a statement Wednesday denying allegations a Florida doctor who is a friend lined up prostitutes for him. The FBI Tuesday raided the office Dr. Salomon Melgen, an eye doctor practicing in West Palm Beach, Fla., who is the target of an Internal Revenue Service lien for more than $11 million, The Miami Herald reported. The newspaper said federal investigators were believed to be looking into Melgen's finances as well as the allegations about prostitutes. "Dr. Melgen has been a friend and political supporter of Senator Menendez for many years," the statement...

As you know, a Tunisian man was seen on the Consulate videotape the day of the attack. He was arrested a short time later in Turkey at their airport as he tried to pass through with false documents. The Turkish authorities turned the man over to Tunisia (not the USA for questioning) and the Tunisian government has not let our FBI interview him. The US has not explained why they could not get access to interview this man. About 3 nights ago, Senator Lindsey Graham learned of the foregoing and was outraged that we had not interviewed this man....

JERUSALEM – The Obama administration’s lead investigator into the Benghazi attack, former Ambassador Thomas Pickering, previously held clandestine meetings with Hamas aimed at opening U.S. dialogue with the terrorist group, according to informed Middle Eastern security officials. Sources within Hamas previously disclosed to WND the June 2009 meeting. The gathering allegedly took place in Geneva with two Hamas leaders, Bassem Naim and Mahmoud al-Zahar. Naim is Hamas’ health minister, while al-Zahar is one of the main Hamas leaders in Gaza. Pickering is further tied to the revolutions in the Middle East and North Africa through his role as a member...

If it seems like I've been enjoying Massachusetts Democrat Elizabeth Warren's slow motion train wreck just a little bit, it's probably because I am. For a refresher on the basic facts, review my primer from last week. In one of my subsequent posts on the matter, I noted with some bemusement the coincidence that Harvard continues to list just one of its law professors as a Native American -- but refuses to say who it is. I bet you can guess why. This is all a big non-issue, though, the Warren campaign informs us, because the professor-turned-candidate received no academic...

It appears that central bank intervention was not the only thing in full force today: The US version of the Chinese Ministry of Truth in economic reporting has now officially joined the fray. Anyone wondering just how much of a joke the US high frequency economic data updates have become should look no further than these three charts showing Wall Street forecasts (consensus and distribution) and actual prints for the ADP Payroll, the Chicago PMI and Pending Home Sales. Not one indicator has come below 4 standard deviations above the average forecast, and every single one has printed above the...

A proposed revision to Freedom of Information Act rules would allow federal agencies to lie to citizens and reporters seeking certain records, telling them the records don’t exist. The Justice Department has proposed the change as part of a large revision of FOIA rules for federal agencies. Specifically, the rule would direct government agencies who are denying a request under an established FOIA exemption to “respond to the request as if the excluded records did not exist,” rather than citing the relevant exemption. The proposed rule has alarmed government transparency advocates across the political spectrum, who’ve called it “Orwellian” and...

Recordings released via CBS reporter Sharyl Atkisson offer many disturbing comments regarding the Gunwalker scandal. Weapons dealer Andre Howard is speaking with ATF agent Hope McAlister. On one of the recordings it is suggested that putting a private investigator on Senator Chuck Grassley could help diminish Grassley's enthusiasm for the Gunwalker investigation: EXCERPT 2 Dealer: Until something else happens they're not stupid, Hope, they connect the dots. Agent: No and you know and all that's fine if Senator Grassley wants to come in and tell us show us how to work these cases more efficiently more effectively by all means....

Fox News is reporting that a third gun apparently found at the murder scene of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry was linked to Operation Fast and Furious, but its existence may have been deliberately concealed by the FBI to protect the identity of an informant “who works inside a major Mexican cartel.” That informant, according to the report by Fox reporter William Lajuenesse, “provided the money to obtain the weapons used to kill Terry.” This tends to support statements made by Kenneth Melson, former acting director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, to congressional investigators in a...
