The protest was supposed to somehow change people’s minds about the exercise of Second Amendment rights on Campus. The protest made national news for a day or two. Many people view Texas as an extremely gun friendly state. Texas has been becoming gun friendly, but the image has not been entirely deserved. An Austin ISD maintenance worker and his wife were sentenced to federal prison Thursday for conspiring to smuggle more than 500 illegal immigrants into the United States. Boeing unveiled the first prototype of its trainer aircraft for U.S. Air Force T-X advanced pilot trainer program co-developed with the Saab.
