I just heard, about 60 seconds ago, that Trump has chosen Elaine Chao, wife of MITCH MCCONNELL, to be his Transportation Secretary. His last few cabinet picks have been atrocious choices (that he's even considering Romney is disgusting) and one must wonder if the RNC and his Rinsy Boy are not calling the shots at these horrible choices. There is hardly a bigger RINO or more destructive person in the Senate than Mitch McConnell. Chao is just a Bush cabinet retread with no particular qualifications for this job. The people voted in Trump to get away from the RNC establishment,...

Bush and was the first Asian-American woman to hold a Cabinet position. The formal announcement was expected Tuesday afternoon. Although Trump spoke on the campaign trail about wanting to "drain the swamp" in Washington, more than half of Trump's nine key appointments so far have been...

WASHINGTON — President-elect Donald J. Trump has selected Elaine L. Chao, the former Labor secretary under George W. Bush, to head the Department of Transportation, elevating someone who has been a fixture of the Republican establishment in Washington to a post that could become integral to shaping one of the most ambitious parts of Mr. Trump’s agenda. Mr. Trump, a real estate magnate, has said infrastructure redevelopment is a priority. And Ms. Chao has experience — politically and personally — in navigating the competing centers of power in the capital. She is married to Senator Mitch McConnell, Republican of Kentucky...
