Election 2016 took a detour through the doctor’s office this week: Dr. Lisa Bardack. Dr. Harold Bornstein. And, it seems only fitting, Dr. Mehmet Oz. Donald Trump’s decision to deliver his long-hyped health records release on Dr. Oz’s show is as strange as everything else about this election. Yet, much like the key decisions that made him the Republican nominee, Trump’s play was crazy like a fox. The week began with Hillary Clinton’s near-collapse while trying to make an early exit out of a Sunday morning New York City 9/11 memorial. The dramatic video has now been viewed by essentially...

Donald Trump, a master showman, surprised the "Dr. Oz Show" studio audience on Wednesday by revealing the results of a recent physical exam. The "Oz" episode, taped on Wednesday morning, will not air until Thursday. But a campaign spokeswoman confirmed that Trump handed Dr. Oz a one-page summary of the physical exam he underwent last week. The physical was conducted by Dr. Harold N. Washington (CNN). The doctor who has produced the only public medical record about Donald Trump during his presidential campaign reportedly said he spent only five minutes writing it. Harold Bornstein, Trump's doctor who wrote a four-paragraph note last December declaring the GOP nominee to be the "healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency," said Friday that he spent very little time on the note. "I try to get four or five lines down as fast as possible so that they would be happy," he told NBC News, explaining that he penned the note as he waited for a limo to...

As Donald Trump and his allies attempt to raise dubious questions over Hillary Clinton's health, the Republican nominee has invited new scrutiny into his own medical history. Like Clinton, Trump has released minimal information, most notably in the form of a December 2015 letter of a few paragraphs from his personal physician, a gastroenterologist, that described his blood pressure and lab results as "astonishingly excellent" while suggesting a President Trump would be the "healthiest individual ever elected." Dr. Sanjay Gupta, CNN's chief medical correspondent, found much of that language surprising and, in some cases, almost comically lacking in objective data....
