The popular grocery chain, Wegmans has ten stores in Virginia, where feminists are pushing a boycott of Trump wines and Wegmans for selling it. But don’t expect Wegmans to fold anytime soon. Since the boycott began the sale of Trump Wines has skyrocketed. Two stores are totally out and the other eight are almost totally out and Wegmans warehouse does not have a single case left.

There’s a run on Trump Wine, with stores in the Washington region selling out of bottles bearing the president’s name. Mike Mackie, co-owner of The Wine Cabinet in Reston, Va., says the brand is flying off his store shelves quicker than he can restock it for multiple reasons.

Wegmans Food Markets is the latest retailer to face political pressure for carrying products connected to President Donald Trump. The Gates-based grocer is being called on to remove Trump Winery products from its Virginia stores, where it sells 237 different wines from 58 wineries in that state. The Stop Trump Wine group has asked Virginians to boycott grocers, retailers, restaurants and other organizations doing business with Trump Winery.

Just days after Donald Trump secured the White House, the real-estate mogul scored a legal victory in a decadelong trademark dispute over the right to use his name in China for certain services. The businessman-turned-politician’s application to register his Trump trademark to provide real-estate-agent services in commercial and residential properties in China, was provisionally approved Sunday after a yearslong legal fight. It wasn’t clear why Mr. Trump prevailed, and more battles may come. Of the 53 registered trademarks under the Trump name in China—in categories ranging from clothing and beauty salons to pet care and golf courses—only 21 are owned...

Retailers have begun ditching Ivanka's brand under the growing pressure of the anti-Trump boycott. Shoes.com, a Canadian online shoe store, became the first retailer to announce it was dropping Ivanka Trump's shoe line last week, following the GrabYourWallet campaign. Shannon Coulter kicked off the boycott on October 11, a reference to Trump's now famous 'grab them by the p***y' remark from the audio tape and numerous allegations of sexual assault by the president-elect. New York's famous Plaza Hotel is set to go on sale in an auction next month and experts believe that the five-star hotel could sell for more than $1billion. Billionaire brothers David and Simon Reuben hold the mortgage for the storied five-star hotel and scheduled a foreclosure auction for April 26. The auction was prompted after the hotel's 75 per cent owner Sahara India Pariwar — whose chairman went to prison in 2014 for defrauding investors — defaulted on loan agreements... < snip > Foreign investors are pouring capital into New York hotels at a historic rate. Schneiderman: Trump University Fraud 'Pretty Straightforward' by Chris Isidore @CNNMoney March 4, 2016: New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman said that evidence of the fraud perpetrated by Trump University is "pretty straightforward." "It [was] a bait and switch scheme," he said on CNN's New Day Friday, defending his and other lawsuits against the school. "He did ads saying my hand-picked instructors will teach you my personal secrets. You just copy what I did and get rich." But Schneiderman said evidence in the case makes clear that Trump was not involved in hiring instructors, and that he didn't create the program's...

Many people believe that higher education is a de facto scam. Trump University, Donald Trump's real-estate institution, was a de jure one. First thing first, Trump University was never a university. When the "school" was established in 2005, the New York State Education Department warned that it was in violation of state law for operating without a NYSED license. Trump ignored the warnings. (The institution is now called, ahem, "Trump Entrepreneur Initiative.") Cue lawsuits. Trump University is currently the defendant in three lawsuits - two class-action lawsuits filed in California, and one filed in New York by then-attorney general Eric...

Donald Trump has resumed criticizing Megyn Kelly, threatening to disrupt the fragile, on-again-off-again truce between himself and Fox News. Trump took to Twitter during Kelly's Thursday night broadcast to criticize her guests, as "dumb puppets." He also claimed that he didn't watch her show -- which is doubtful, given his tweets -- and retweeted users who disparaged the program. Trump kicked off Thursday night's tirade by targeting Kelly's guests, Fox News digital politics editor Chris Stirewalt and former George Bush speechwriter Marc Thiessen, who now serves as a columnist and Fox News contributor. "Megyn Kelly has two really dumb puppets,...
