Last Friday, I flew nonstop on United Airlines from New York to California on a first class ticket. It took filing a lawsuit, but Judicial Watch discovered Friday that President Obama has set a new record for travel on the taxpayer dime. Wednesday night at the Oakland International Airport, a flight had to make an emergency evacuation at the gate after it safely landed because of smoke in the plane. The video was shot by Linton Johnson, a passenger onboard the Delta connection Flight 4454, which was operated by SkyWest. Johnson said on his Facebook page that the plane's cabin filled with smoke and that the flight attendants yelled at passengers to exit the plane. The video shows a chaotic scene. The Oakland Fire Department told ABC7 News they responded to the gate for a red alert.

Last year, the Transportation Security Administration collected $531,395.22 in change left behind at checkpoints. Federal law requires the TSA to report the amount of unclaimed money they keep every year to Congress. Delta Airlines says that ObamaCare will cost the company $38 million directly over the next year, and nearly $100 million when all additional costs are factored in.
