Should Tiger be included on the Ryder Cup Team? Is he a former PGA phenom? Without question. Did he have an exceptional 2010 season? No, he had a decidedly lackluster 2010 season. Was he the first African-American golfer to achieve superstar status and retain it over several seasons? Aha! I think that could be the key! When we put together an Olympic hockey or soccer team, we don’t select a player who is the first Croatian-American who plays a mediocre hockey or soccer game, and who happens to be grappling with some emotional problems. No, we go for the guys...

The revelations that once seemed to come daily have now largely stopped. No more mistresses have stepped forward, and no more apologies are necessary. Nine months after the secret world of Tiger Woods was laid bare, even the tabloids and celebrity websites seem to have lost interest. The only real questions left are how much his wife will get in a divorce and when she will get it.

Defending champion Tiger Woods, right, continued to struggle on the golf course during the opening round of the Bridgestone Invitational on Thursday in Akron, Ohio. Woods, ranked No. 1 in the world and seven-time winner of the event, missed nine of 14 fairways and needed 32 putts at Firestone Country Club as he posted a four-over-par 74, 10 shots off the pace of first-round leader Bubba Watson. Phil Mickelson is in a four-way tie for second, two shots behind Watson at four-under 66. Also tied for second are Kenny Perry, Adam Scott and Graeme McDowell.

| Print Article | | Share July 19, 2010We know more about the Tiger Woods sex scandal than our own presidentMonty Pelerin The cornerstone of a democracy or any representative government is an informed public. The U.S. Founding Fathers recognized the importance of an enlightened citizenry and saw fit to codify it in the very First Amendment. How important they considered the press is apparent when is is recognized that they provided it equal protection to religion, freedom of speech, assembly and petition: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or...

ROSEMONT, Ill.- Organizers of a pornography industry expo in the Chicago area said the event will feature appearances from alleged mistresses of Tiger Woods and Jesse James. Mike Wittenberg of New York state-based Taboo Productions, which is putting on Exxxtacy 2010 in Rosemont, said the convention will feature appearances by alleged Tiger Woods mistresses Joslyn James, Devon James and Holly Sampson, who have all appeared in porn films, the Chicago Tribune reported Tuesday. "Their appeal is that they've been in the news," said Wittenberg, who said alleged mistresses of Sandra Bullock's estranged husband, Jesse James, will also be in attendance....

Despite reports that Tiger Wood's wife, Elin Nordegren, would get $750 million in her split from the golfer, it looks like she'll be getting a much smaller -- albeit substantial -- payout. TMZ reports that Nordegren will get $100 million dollars. In exchange, she has agreed to a confidentiality clause -- meaning no books or interviews discussing her relationship with Woods or his alleged affairs. The $100 million figure is much less than their pre-nup stipulated, according to TMZ, but Nordegren may have wanted to avoid a possible trial. Nordegren will also likely receive substantial child support payments for the...

TMZ has learned ... Elin Nordegren will walk away from her marriage with Tiger Woods with approximately $100 million. As one source with direct knowledge of the terms of the divorce tells TMZ, "She'll be getting close to $100,000,000." There have been reports Elin would score $750 million, but we have confirmed that figure is wrong. Indeed, as we first reported, Tiger is not even worth $750 million. We're told his net worth is somewhere between $500 and $600 million.

NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa., July 2, 2010 – The pressure of driving iron through sand, running from bunker to bunker or getting near troubled woods while desperately trying not to hit innocent civilians is nothing new for most combat veterans. After sinking a birdie putt to place his team in the lead for the AT&T National Pro-Am at Aronomink Country Club in Newtown Square, Pa., Tiger Woods gives his gratitude and a hearty fist bump to Air Force Chief Master George Vasiloff of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard, June 30, 2010. Tiger Woods has been interviewed by federal authorities investigating a Canadian doctor accused of distributing human growth hormone, a person familiar with the investigation told The Associated Press on Wednesday. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because the investigation of Dr. Anthony Galea is ongoing. Woods previously acknowledged that he's been treated by the Toronto-based doctor but insisted that he did not receive any performance-enhancing drugs. "Tiger willingly spoke to the authorities and cooperated fully," Woods' agent, Mark Steinberg, said in an e-mail. "It was confirmed that because he did nothing illegal, he is not the subject of...

MONTEREY - The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed Friday that the FBI did contact the control tower at Monterey Peninsula Airport on Sunday because it was concerned about a plane towing a banner above the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach. FAA spokesman Lynn Lundsford had said that he was unable to locate a record of the request. His colleague, spokesman Ian Gregor, said Friday that the record wasn't found earlier because the call from the FBI went directly to the airport control tower. Gregor said in the FBI agent who called "expressed some concerns about a banner-tower." The banner read TIGER:...

It's open season on Tiger Woods. As the disgraced golfer took to the links Tuesday at the U.S. Open, one of his mistresses claimed she has been caddying around his love child for nine years. And renewed reports emerged about another paramour's claims that she, too, bore a Tiger cub. Adult film actress Devon James, 29, claims Woods is the father of her son, Austin T. James - whose middle initial is a secret tribute to the golfer she loved.

This Tiger Woods divorce looks like it's going to be fought with conventional weapons, and cost thousands of lives. Bill Zwecker of the Chicago Sun-Times is reporting that negotiations are bogging down over Tiger's demand that Elin Nordegren sign a confidentiality agreement, prohibiting her from writing a book or doing any interviews related to the marriage. Oh, and there's this: In addition, I'm hearing Nordegren is ramping up her financial demands -- to an estimated $750 million package -- and wants full custody of their children.

Hank Haney’s six-year run as Tiger Woods’ swing coach is over. Haney told Golf Channel late Monday that he has informed Woods that he will no longer be his coach. “Just so there is no confusion, I would like to make it clear that this is my decision,” Haney said in a statement released to Golf Channel.

AN anchor on America's Golf Channel made an embarrassing slip when referring to Tiger Woods' withdrawal from The Players Championship in Florida yesterday. Woods, who was playing in his third tournament since returning from his self-imposed sex scandal exile that lasted nearly five months, blamed a bulging disk in his upper back for his decision to pull out of the $9.5 million tournament. But while reporting on the withdrawal of Woods, the female anchor instead blamed a "bulging d**k."

And now there’s yet another new experience Tiger Woods has to deal with. And it’s the last thing we ever thought we’d see from the man who used to be the greatest golfer most of us had ever seen. He quit Sunday in the final round of the Players Championship. Picked his ball up on the seventh hole, said his neck hurts, and didn’t even walk off the course. He climbed in a golf cart and rode off into the metaphorical sunset. Except that little kid running behind him wasn’t yelling, “Come back, Shane!” He was yelling, “"Tiger, say so...
