At least five off-duty New York Police Department officers have admitted being present at the savage revenge beating last weekend on the Henry Hudson Parkway, according to reports. Among the off duty cops were at least two detectives and three other officers, all who witnessed the attack and did little to stop it. One of the detectives, an undercover narcotics officer, watched as the violence broke out and chose not to break it up for fear of ruining his cover. The family of a man killed during a police chase in DeLand released video of the incident in Volusia County. Police dashcam video released on Wednesday shows then-DeLand Police Officer James Harris in hot pursuit, chasing Marlon Brown after Brown jumped from a car and took off on foot. The video shows Brown slip and fall. As he is getting back up, it appears he was struck by the front of Harris' patrol car. Brown died in the incident.... ... One deputy was hospitalized and another injured after a woman who refused to move her car at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport got violent Sunday, authorities said. Omolola Modupeola Dawodu, 36, was arrested on charges of battery on an officer, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting an officer with violence and resisting an officer without violence, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.

Many children grow up looking up to their mothers. But one woman in Missouri is setting the wrong example for her kids. She allegedly took them along for a jewelry store heist. Surveillance video captures her going into a store with her two young kids, a boy and girl. The store owner says that the woman distracted him, while her kids filled up her purse with thousands of dollars in jewels. Police did recover $10,000 worth of merchandise and identified the woman in the surveillance video. However, thieving family is on the run tonight.

GRANDVIEW, MO (KCTV) - Grandview police said a 14-year-old has been charged after an elderly veteran was robbed twice over the course of two days. . . Police shared surveillance video from a robbery on Sunday. A group of seven men forced their way into a home near Blue Ridge Boulevard and Interstate 49. Once inside police say they stole two handguns and a rifle after punching the 85-year-old homeowner in the head. The robbers came back two days later, this time with nine people rushing into the home.

Two men have been charged with the murder of a Jesuit college student who was beaten to death after he and a friend were 'jumped from behind' as they walked back to campus from a bar on Labor Day weekend. A school bus driver can be heard on surveillance footage pleading for help from a dispatcher as he witnessed a 13-year-old viciously attacked by three older teens. "You've got to get somebody here –quick, quick, quick," John Moody said. "They are about to beat this boy to death." The victim came away from the July 9 beating with two black eyes and a fractured hand, according to WFLA.
