Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James mocked alleged Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse over a video showing the 18-year-old crying in court while testifying in his murder trial. "What tears?????" the 17-time All-Star tweeted Wednesday evening after the conclusion of Rittenhouse’s testimony in his unfolding murder trial, where the teen broke down on the stand recounting the August 2020 shooting he was involved in that left two people dead and one injured. "I didn’t see one. Man knock it off! That boy ate some lemon heads before walking into court," James added. The tweet was retweeted thousands of times and liked...

This past Sunday, career-long reprobate and now public anti-semite and veteran receiver DeSean Jackson was in town with the Rams. He was granted the double-standard free-pass treatment from media and NFL officialdom. It’s a double-standard so transparent and common as to make the fair-minded respond with a this-is-how-it-is shrug. I still can’t. And won’t. Jackson disseminated a quote incorrectly attributed to Adolf Hitler, along with the Jew-bashing ravings of lunatic Louis Farrakhan, to support his position that Jews have been mandated to enslave blacks. Jackson then made one of those sorta, kinda apologies that he didn’t “intend” to hurt anyone’s...

If there were a flopping safety word that would make all of this stop, everyone should be screaming it right now. Chris Paul is a much, much smaller human than LeBron James. There really is no scientific way in which Paul could have caused injury to James in this scenario. Yet, there is “The King,” writhing on the floor as his Laker teammates attempted to defend their leader’s “honor.” Outrage online caused “LeFlop” to begin trending. If there’s any consolation, the Lakers lost to the Suns 99-90. It’s probably safe to say that LeBron James has done more to expand...

As the jury was deliberating Tuesday the fate of ex-Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin, another police-involved shooting was taking place in Columbus, Ohio. Body camera footage showed the shooting victim, 16-year-old Ma'Khia Bryant, charging at another female armed with what appears to be a knife. An officer shot Bryant four times before she collapsed to the ground. She died at the hospital after being taken there in critical condition. Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James reacted to the news on Twitter, in a now-deleted tweet, by sharing an image of the officer involved in the fatal shooting of Bryant, and...

NBA officials and players were quick to react as former police officer Derek Chauvin was found guilty of murdering George Floyd in the United States. "The act of participating in our country's election process is our civic responsibility and instrumental to our country's foundation. We should promote increasing voter turnout as opposed to any measures that adversely impact the ability to cast a ballot. In November, the Marlins proudly set out to promote the vote with our Election Day Feed the Polls initiative, providing meals to voters as our local election officials conducted free and fair elections. We support the Commissioner's decision to stand up for the values of our game and not hold this year's All-Star Game in the state of Georgia."

LEBRON James will be out indefinitely after suffering a high ankle sprain, the Los Angeles Lakers announced on Saturday. James, 36, suffered the injury during Saturday's game against the Atlanta Hawks and reportedly shouted in an uncharacteristic show of pain. MSNBC host Joy Reid has declared NBA star LeBron James to be “today’s equivalent of Muhammad Ali,” in recognition of his social justice activism. Reid took to Twitter to lionize the billionaire basketball player and put him on par with Ali, a man who truly fought for civil rights. But to make her tweet even more absurd, she added a clip of fictional superhero Black Panther to it, apparently sending the signal that James is a “hero.” “‘ll say it again. LeBron James is today’s Muhammad Ali and Bill Russell, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Glad he has that platform. Keep speaking,...

Had the Houston Texans stayed the course and followed the recommendation of the search firm Korn Ferry, they likely would have hired Pittsburgh Steelers vice president of football and business administration Omar Khan as their next general manager, league sources told ESPN. The NBA, however, fears that starting the season even in January could cost the league anywhere from $500 million to $1 billion in lost revenue, according to ESPN.
