A man suspected of having invaded that New Jersey home and severely attacked the woman, including throwing her down the basement stairs has been arrested and charged with first degree attempted murder, first degree robbery, 2nd degree burglary and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

I must admit, I’m kinda feeling Rachel Jeantel. While watching the proceedings in the George Zimmerman trial in the death of Trayvon Martin, I have found the two days of testimony by the last person to speak with the 17-year-old student to be nothing short of riveting. A 75-year-old woman found dead in her northwest Las Vegas home in May was beaten with a pistol and shot in the head during a robbery, according to police reports. Jean Main was found dead the morning of May 21 at her home in a gated community on Green Pasture Avenue near Lone Mountain Road and Durango Drive, with her home apparently burglarized.
