The wife of a Russian soldier delivered an emotional appeal for his return from Ukraine on Saturday at the election headquarters of President Vladimir Putin, a defiant gesture in a country where open criticism of the war is banned. "Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin has issued a decree that my husband has to be there (in Ukraine). I'm interested to know when he will issue a decree that my husband has to be home," Maria Andreyeva said. She became involved in a heated exchange with a woman who told her that Russian soldiers in Ukraine were defending the motherland and she should...

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then...

Russia's egg shortage is being exacerbated by bird flu-riddled imports from Turkey, one of the country's biggest trading partners and a NATO member, according to a recent report citing a Russian government official. More than one-fifth of the eggs imported from Turkey were found to be infected with the highly contagious H5N1 avian influenza, as well as other dangerous ailments including salmonella and botulism, Russian authorities warned. -snip- Russia's attempt to pivot to Turkey for emergency egg supplies in January now appears to have backfired, as the delivery of the first batch of Turkish eggs was promptly followed by reports...

“When you put somebody’s name in print in a book, you want to make sure the facts around it are correct, especially if they are not living because it’s not like Joe is here and he would have known how to deal with this.” President Donald Trump’s estranged niece Mary claimed he paid his old friend Joe Shapiro to take his SAT test. Pam Shriver, a former tennis pro and Shapiro’s widow, hit back at Mary’s accusations. The widow of the man who Mary Trump alleges took the SAT test for @realDonaldTrump says her husband didn't meet Donald Trump until...

This budget does not fund the wall, but it funds planned parenthood and sanctuary cities. We're told it will get dealt with in October. Oh Really? why not now? Also—Where is the appeal on the travel ban? Gorsuch is in place. So what is the hold up? Same with the sanctuary cities ruling. Where is the appeal? No wall, no travel ban, sanctuary cities fully funded, and planned parenthood funded as well. I’m pretty sure that’s NOT what we voted for. Where is Trump the fighter? Where did he go?

Here's a VERY revealing thread from DUmmie Funnies that follows a discussion with a marine, just back from Iraq, attempting to tell the brainiacs at Democratic Underground the truth of what he personally witnessed... The result is probably what you'd expect... An absolute textbook case of BDS left untreated. Link is HereI thought it should be seen by a lot more folks... Here's the article (the bracketed comments are added by PJ Comix to add humor to the tragedy):

>Consider this:****On Wilson/Plame/Leakgate/ and the rest.................................. Speaking of Chappaqua Rose, to me this whole thing has Hillary's fingerprints all over it. Remember when she "fudged" things when she was involved in writing up the articles of impeachment for Nixon?*** From http://www.townhall.com/opinion/columns/benshapiro/2003/06/19/169878.html Hillary Clinton cut her teeth on the Watergate scandal. As a counsel for the House Judiciary Committee impeachment inquiry staff, she made it her mission to topple President Nixon. Hillary helped drafted a document that would provide the legal basis for three articles of impeachment. The House Judiciary Committee's former chief counsel, Jerome Zeifman, later revealed that the Hillary-penned...

Cobbeldick aims his sights on town's top office Thursday, August 04, 2005 By CAROLYN STEIGMAN BAY VILLAGE _ If Bruce Cobbeldick isn't elected mayor of Bay Village in November, it won't be for lack of trying. He has been campaigning at a feverish pace since first announcing his plan to run for the position in March 2004. No one goes door to door like me, tries this hard to be accessible to people, or takes the initiative to have Web sites and campaign headquarters in place for the convenience of citizens, Cobbeldick said. What other candidate has rented out the...

Ok fellow freepers. The aristocracy had fun deciding which 'hick town' was the armpit of America. Naturally it had to be rural and conservative. A tad redneck. They were way off the mark. I would have picked New York prior to 9-11. I mean, good grief. Hellery's husband pardoned bomb terrorists to get her elected, the scandal is exposed to every New Yorker and they elected her anyway? She was silent on the issue for at least a week. But well, perhaps NY had been reborn in blood. So, I'm tempted to give them a pass. Arkansas? Could that be...
