In a brief interview yesterday with jeff4justice of the No More 2 Party System YouTube channel, the increasingly libertarian political commentator and media impresario Glenn Beck was asked whether he was going to vote for Libertarian Party presidential nominee Gary Johnson. Beck, who had previously gushed about L.P. presidential candidate and eventual runner-up Austin Petersen, replied: "I'm probably going to vote for Gary Johnson," though "I haven't made my final decision yet."

Just hours before Donald Trump was set to give his acceptance speech for the Republican presidential nomination in Cleveland, one of his third-party challengers rallied supporters in Stamford Thursday night. About 150 people turned out to see Green Party presumptive presidential nominee Jill Stein at the Stamford Innovation Center. Nearly all in attendance were former supporters of Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. Military troops favor Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson for president over Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, according to a new survey. Johnson garnered 38.7 percent of the active duty vote, versus 30.9 for Trump, and 14.1 for Clinton, according to the survey, which was conducted via the popular military personality Doctrine Man. Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson hinted Wednesday that former Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush might be considering an endorsement. "I can't say that we haven't had conversations," Johnson said in a Wednesday afternoon conversation on CNN from Cleveland. "But no push on the conversations." According to the city Board of Elections, Trump received two out of the five write-in votes cast among eligible voters.
