Today our family laid our patriarch to rest. Some months ago, I asked for prayers for Eugene and his family and hundreds of you sent them up on our behalf. Although the surgery for his aneurysm was successful, subsequent troubles combined to send him home on New Year's Day. Eugene was my father in law.
