I was channel surfing and came across Ann Coulter on TBN "Behind the Scenes" at noon. Not being a regular TBN watcher I was intrigued at the thought of Ann being on the same station as Paul and Jan Crouch.;o) The show was excellent! The Trinity Broadcasting Network has suspended Hal Lindsey’s television program, “International Intelligence Briefing” for the month of December, and possibly permanently. According to Lindsey’s website, his show was suspended because, “Some at the network apparently feel that my message is too pro-Israel and too anti-Muslim.” A phone call and email to TBN have not received a response yet. Televangelists devote less time to fundraising than commercial television does airing commercials. That is the latest finding of Stephen Winzenburg, a communications professor at Grand View College in Des Moines, Iowa. He just released his eighth independently funded survey of religious programs. On average, televangelists use 17 percent of their airtime fundraising and promoting their programs, while commercial television devotes 28 percent.
