March 10, 2022 In what I did not even consider calling a “shocking development,” a federal judge has held that police officers may not be entitled to qualified immunity for an incident in which they lied about having probable cause to make a traffic stop, dragged the passenger out of the car, tased him repeatedly, including after he was handcuffed, and including at least once in the genitals after pulling his pants down for that purpose. The officers argued that it was not clear at the time whether this sort of thing was against the law. That is, they were...

Hennepin County Judge Regina Chu handed down the “significant downward” punishment for the former Brooklyn Center police officer after emotional courtroom statements from the victim's loved ones and the defendant herself. Chu ordered Potter to spend two-thirds of her sentence behind bars and one-third of it on supervised release. She's already served 58 days behind bars, which will go to her credit.

A man reportedly burst into flames as police officers stunned him with a Taser just after he’d doused himself in hand sanitizer, and is now recovering in a burn ward. While this unlikely event is an exceptionally rare accident, it’s not the first time that an electroshock weapon and a flammable liquid have sparked a fire. The incident occurred when Jason Jones, aged 29, got into a confrontation with officers at the Catskill police station in New York State, the Times Union of Albany reported. Details are thin, but Jones reportedly appeared intoxicated and poured hand sanitizer on himself. In...

An older woman was approached by cops for some reason I do not know. The woman tried using her very own magical powers, putting her hand out like she's got some kind of force field emanating from it. The cop moves back a little bit, so maybe she did have something going for her. But it wasn't enough and the cop dropped her like a sack of potatoes with his taser. Save your magic for someone else, Karen!

People.com reports: "Police have identified three people who died from "medical emergencies" during the violent riot at the Capitol building Wednesday." 3 medical emergency deaths at the Capitol. How unusual is that? What are the full stories behind these deaths? Truth is the only healthy basis for society.
