Yavapai County sheriff's deputies have arrested a teacher at American Heritage Academy on charges of having sex with a student. Deputies went to the school Thursday after the school principal reported catching the teacher and student in a compromising situation. The principal, Leonard Miller, told sheriff's detectives he tried to enter biology teacher Emili Kay Daniels' classroom, but the door was locked. Va., with his eighth-grade teacher. The boy, a student at Maurice Donahue Elementary School, "was found to be OK," said Holyoke Police Chief Anthony R. Scott. The teacher Lisa Lavoie, 24, was taken into custody by local police and will be charged with enticement of a child, which is a felony, Scott said.

MAGNOLIA -- Police say the motives of a teacher accused of taking three youngsters to motels to engage in sex in a nearby town aren't known. Donna Lou Sanders, 46, of Magnolia, was released on $100,000 bond Friday. She is charged with 12 counts of permitting abuse of a minor, and 10 counts of rape. A 14-year-old girl has been sentenced to a state juvenile correction facility “for an indeterminate period not to exceed her 21st birthday” for shoving a 58-year-old teacher’s aide.
