Last Saturday, for the second time in a month, protesters who identified themselves as members of the Black Lives Matter movement leapt onstage to interrupt a speech by Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. “I was going to tell Bernie how racist this city is, even with all of these progressives, but you’ve already done that for me,” said Marissa Johnson, who was roundly booed before demanding and receiving a four-minute moment of silence for the death of Michael Brown, as Sanders stood behind her and fellow protester Mara Willaford. The Seattle protest sparked a particularly strong counter-reaction, especially among the...

Republican presidential contender Jeb Bush touched on education, immigration, Iran and the economy during an hourlong town hall at a North Las Vegas community center tonight. But it wasn't until Jamie Hall got the microphone to ask the last question of the evening before the former Florida governor was forced to address a campaign issue that's been gaining momentum in recent weeks — racial inequality. "I wanted to ask you about racial injustice, racial inequalities, institutional racism," Hall said, referencing the growing Black Lives Matter movement. "Are you going to be talking to different police departments about training reform? You...

“Why would the protesters and activist behind the #BlackLivesMovement shut down a political rally for the most Liberal, Democratic candidate running, Bernie Sanders? According to Michael Bentley, it is just another case of dirty politics.” The world of politics can be a filthy business, and according to Publicist Michael Bentley, the mud was flying around in Seattle over the weekend. Bentley went on a small rant Sunday morning about the stoppage of Sander’s speech on Saturday. Michael Bentley was being interviewed on New York Radio’s Moonlight Gram Hour and the for the magazine edition of the NYC Gazette. “It wasn’t...

Sigh! Once again we are going to have to apply the Koch brothers test when it comes to journalists covering "grass-roots" protests. Here's how it goes: if the Koch brothers were financing an organization that was loudly protesting against candidates opposed by the Koch brothers, wouldn't that fact be highlighted in any story about such protests? Therefore, how can Politico's Daniel Strauss write a story about the Black Lives Matter not only protesting and disrupting Bernie Sanders events but even causing the cancellation of one of his speeches without any reference at all as to who is financing BLM and why. ...

Imagine if the Koch brothers had financed a group that was regularly disrupting and shutting down events of candidates that they opposed. Does anybody doubt that the Koch connection would come up in the first paragraph, if not the first sentence, of most news stories about such disruptions? Yet somehow, complete silence from the MSM on the connection of George Soros to #BlackLivesMatter even though he is the providing most of the finances to that organization. Also mysterious is how the MSM also fails to note that Hillary Clinton, whom Soros supports, has not had her events disrupted by #SorosMoneyMatters (also...

Protesters who claimed affiliation with the Black Lives Matter movement stormed the stage during a rally for Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) in Seattle on Saturday, taking over the microphone and forcing Sanders to leave without ever speaking. Moments after Sanders took the stage at Westlake Park, two women and one man climbed the stage and confronted the Democratic presidential candidate, demanding a chance to speak. After several moments of confusion and confrontation, an event organizer took the microphone and said the protesters would be allowed to speak before Sanders. Some in the crowd booed.

Bernie Sanders was confronted at the Netroots Nation forum. Radical activists jumped on stage and started shouting "Black lives matter! Black lives matter!". Bernie seemed to be as surprised that his own creation had turned on him. After all, leftists like Sanders had for years fomented and nurtured racial hatred and resentment among Blacks, telling them that white America is racist and mistreats blacks in so many ways. Should they really be surprised when children of their movement turn on them? The protesters began shouting again when Sanders tried to pivot back to discussing Wall Street greed and economic...

The long knives are out at Netroots Nation 2015, but for once they aren’t pointed at the Republicans. The infighting has gotten ugly because the non-Hillary Democrat candidates were apparently not focused intently enough on the #BlackLivesMatter movement. No other topics of discussion seem to be acceptable this year, and the high profile speakers got an earful if they strayed from that script or dared say something more general about the needs of the entire population of the nation. The first, and probably biggest loser of the day was Martin O’Malley, who showed up there and foolishly began talking...
