A Massachusetts man is facing assault charges after he allegedly shoved an older pro-life woman to the ground outside a Planned Parenthood in April. A witness said the 76-year-old woman’s head bounced off the pavement when she was pushed on April 20 outside the Boston abortion facility, the Boston Herald reports. The woman said she suffered a concussion and other injuries as a result. Hartman Deetz, 42, of Brighton, later was charged with battery and assault on a person 60 years or older, according to the report. He was scheduled to appear in court this week. A van has been involved in a "massive crash" in the city centre of Barcelona, with "several" injured. Police said a white van mounted the pavement and struck several people. Pictures from the scene show emergency services and civilians attending to at least two people on the ground. The Ministry of the Interior said on Twitter: "There has just been a massive trampling on the Ramblas in Barcelona by a person with a van. There are injured."
