Christianity is the foundation of Western Society. However, many in political and academic arenas deny the historical and current benefits of Christianity. We recently examined the histories of European tribes in the early Middle Ages, from 300 years before to 300 years after conversion to Christianity. Our analysis discovered marked statistical improvements in tribal society measures following conversion to Christianity. Following Christianization, tribal-based populations developed more organized, peaceful, compassionate, and just societies. These early medieval countries, while underdeveloped by today’s standards, laid the groundwork for the constitutional democracies that many enjoy today which provide for economic advancement and judicial fairness...

Teleios evaluated measures that could affect wellbeing of children specifically using the top 50 countries from the Human Freedom Index compared to the 50 top countries persecuting Christianity from the Open Doors World Watch List. Children in free countries, which are historically Christian, demonstrate better wellbeing and associated with numerous legal, security, health and educational measures potentially associated with enhanced wellbeing for children. Teleios evaluated various publicly available social, political and economic measures of the 20 countries with the highest average Gross Domestic Product (GDP) who were listed in the top 25% of the Economic Freedom Index versus the 20 with the GDP in the bottom 75%. Our analysis showed countries with the highest mean GDP also ranked in the top 25% of free countries, and demonstrated additional differences that might impact general wellbeing, including greater: human, economic and press freedom, more happiness and less corruption. Back in the 1990s, I began asking a simple polling question that highlights a massive change in the way Americans view their country: Generally speaking, is American society fair and decent or is it unfair and discriminatory? Teleios conducted a survey regarding the benefits of Christian society. Respondents (n=565) indicated that living in a Christian society was important and advantages to living in a Christian society are: stronger moral and ethical base, and a greater amount of love among people. Teleios found that countries that are most free not only demonstrate better average wellbeing, but are associated with numerous economic, legal, security, health, and educational measures associated potentially with enhanced wellbeing for the entire population as well as for women and children. Further, freer countries are much more likely to be Christian. In contrast, countries which persecute Christians are associated with poorer measures of freedom and wellbeing for the entire population.
