An Archbishop who wrote an explosive letter last year calling for Pope Francis to resign on the grounds he knew about Cardinal Theodore McCarrick sexual abuse, is now in hiding.Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò alleged Francis covered for McCarrick and claimed he repealed sanctions imposed by Pope emeritus Benedict XVI in the late 2000s, despite Viganò telling the Pope about the abuse.

A 71-year-old man in Tennessee will probably die in the coming days. He made two final requests of his son, Jessie Goodman. He wanted his funeral at Lee’s Chapel Baptist Church in Sweetwater, which was the first church he ever attended, and he wanted Jessie to sing the hymn “The Anchor Holds” at the service. As predicted, the $15 minimum wage is forcing city employers to cut staff, shorten or scrap shifts, hike prices, cancel expansion plans and even close locations.
