Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf confirmed an investigation is underway into the funding of the rioting taking place amid racial justice protests and unrest nationwide. “This is something that I have talked to the AG personally about,” Wolf told Fox News’ Tucker Carlson on Monday night, saying that the department is focused on “targeting and investigating the head of these organizations, [and] the individuals that are paying for these individuals to move across the country.

On Friday, an anti-terrorism task force of the FBI conducted eight raids in Chicago and Minneapolis. Among the targets was Hatem Abudayyeh, executive director of the Arab American Action Network Network (AAAN). This much has been reported in the media. (AP) -- A Southern Illinois University student was arrested after authorities say he threatened a "murderous rampage'' similar to the Virginia Tech shootings that left 32 people and the gunman dead. A gun dealer had alerted federal authorities about the man, saying he had seemed overly anxious to get a shipment of semiautomatic weapons, according to an affidavit filed in court by a police detective. Olutosin Oduwole was charged Tuesday with attempting to make a terrorist threat, a felony. He remained jailed Wednesday in lieu of $1 million bail."

The Illinois race for U.S. Senate is heating up, and both African-American candidates were campaigning in downstate Illinois Thursday in hopes to win votes from the heartland.
