The United States admitted 23,428 aliens as “refugees” during the first 11 weeks of fiscal year 2017 (October 1 through December 17), according to the Refugee Processing Center (RPC), which is operated by the State Department’s Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM). The RPC’s computers track the movement of refugees from various countries around the world to the United States for resettlement under the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP). If the rate of refugee settlements thus far in FY 2017 holds, the United States will resettle approximately 110,580 for the fiscal year. ... Simon Henshaw, principal deputy assistant secretary...

With the massive influx of Muslims immigrating to the United States, more and more state and local courts face the introduction of principles of Sharia law in their courtroom, with the result that some states are taking action to ensure that the Constitution continues to be the law of the land. Alabama has become the most recent state to prohibit consideration of foreign or religious law that might violate the constitutional rights of its citizens. The states have addressed the issue using various methods including ballot measure, constitutional amendment or legislation. In November, Alabama voters passed “The American and Alabama...

Major Garrett â€@MajorCBS 38m38 minutes ago NEWS: @realDonaldTrump selects @GovernorPerry as Energy Secretary. Announcement forthcoming
-
Donald Trump has narrowed his search for energy secretary to four people, with former Texas Gov. Rick Perry the leading candidate. People familiar with the president-elect's selection process said two Democratic senators from energy-producing states -- Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota and Joe Manchin of West Virginia -- are also in the mix, along with Ray Washburne, a Dallas investor and former chairman of the Republican National Committee. If Trump picks any of the four he will break with recent tradition of putting scientists at the top of the Energy Department. Among other things, the agency is responsible for policies...

"He's been elected president, but he has to earn our respect," Khan told CNN's Anderson Cooper. "He has to earn the position of the presidency. That needs to be seen." Khan said demonstrations across the country protesting Trump's election are evidence of how Muslims and other groups feel intimidated and feel their rights might not be fully guaranteed. . . . "Mosques are being attacked by people throwing things, and that needs to stop," Khan said. "These protesters, they are protesting because of the fear, because of the concern, because of the intimidation." Trump's supporters need to be told now...

"I have just a few hours ago found out that Muslims are being intimidated by Donald Trump's supporters wearing the t-shirts, wearing the caps of Donald Trump. They are attacking Muslims — Muslim women, snatching their scarves, in New York, in Los Angeles. Mosques are being attacked by people throwing things. And that needs to stop," Khan said, but did not follow up with specific examples.

Were Muslims partially responsible for American independence? Hillary Clinton raised eyebrows with a questionable claim during Sunday’s fiery presidential debate by stating Islam was always part of American history – even since the Revolutionary War. After recycling the Khizir Khan controversy, the Democrat nominee claimed “we’ve had Muslims in America since George Washington.”

As one of the most successful women to ever play the male-dominated game of chess, Nazi Paikidze is used to having her moves watched closely. Her latest has drawn international attention: Paikidze announced last week that she will boycott February’s Women's World Chess Championship in Iran because the players will have to wear hijabs. Paikidze’s decision will deprive the tournament of one of the game’s brightest stars and biggest draws — the U.S. champion who once told a magazine she would “do everything I can to help more girls get into chess.”

It is always rather ironic how the mighty enlightened, limo-liberal, progressively-minded people can’t see the inevitable conclusions of their ideological and culturally Marxist arguments. If it didn’t effect all of us, it would be somewhat humorous to point their insufferable hypocrisies back at them. Oh well. At least in this story they were not baking a cake…. All Your Accommodations Are Belong To Us COTO DE CAZA, Calif. — A Southern California woman said she is the victim of discrimination, CBS Los Angeles reports. Mary Campos said her pre-booked ticket was given away by United Airlines. The reason? She’s a...

The focus turns back to culture and geopolitics this week as John talks about "The Handwriting Is on the Wall". The attack on the First Amendment's guarantee of Freedom of Religion is now being waged by the Civil Rights Commission of the federal government. Churches need to be prepared to deal with this issue and stand strong. In geopolitics, the focus is on Israel, Russia, Turkey and what used to be called Syria. You will see, that, indeed, the handwriting is on the wall.

Jeh Johnson, Secretary of Obama's Department of Homeland Security, addressed the Islamist Islamic Society of North America on September 3d. He told the assembled "American Patriots" -- and reminded the rest of us -- of the glories of Islam and how greatly it influences and therefore benefits Obama's America. He did not suggest that only by the further recognition of Islamic supremacy and the further Islamisation of America will they achieve their goals. Today is Labor Day; the rest of us have much work to do to prevent it.Here is the text of Secretary Johnson's speech, with indented comments by...

Having personally ratified the Iran Scam Treaty and the Climate Change Treaty with China, President Obama today met with Turkish, Saudi and Iranian heads of state to ratify a new treaty making Sharia Law binding in the United States. Please see also, The West Needs Sharia Law – Pakistani cleric. Obama, a renowned constitutional scholar, quickly rejected objections by Senate leaders that "He shouldn't oughta do that because it's our job" by reminding them that He is the President and is therefore empowered by the Constitution to do whatever pleases Him.Here is the text of President Obama's statement on ratification of the Sharia Law Treaty, provided...

According to a leading Pakistani imam, Islamists need to convince western civilizations that Sharia law is good and that we need it to root our the evils which possess us. His wise words must be music to Obama's ears. In a recent article, leading Pakistani cleric Maulana Zahidur Rashdi noted that Islam and the West are indeed in a clash of civilizations, as argued by U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich. The article, titled “The Cultural and Civilizational Struggle Between Islam and the West,” was published by Roznama Islam, an Urdu-language daily published...

In an article posted on August 19th titled "Donald Trump and Islamists," I stated that I do not use the term "moderate" when referring to Muslims because it is so grossly misused as to have become meaningless. Nevertheless, one commenter stated, "It’s dangerous to perpetuate the myth of moderate Islam," which I had neither intended to do nor done. This post elaborates on the word "moderate" as it applies to Islam. The term "moderate" Muslim is often applied to those who do not want to kill for Allah, but who want other Muslims to do it for them and for Allah....

Just a little bit of research shows that as usual Donald Trump is right and the lazy hate filled media is wrong. Trump’s call for “extreme” vetting falls squarely within the options outlined by the 1952 Immigration and Nationality revise Act commonly known as the McCarran-Walter Act, which was passed to strengthen America’s ability to protect ourselves in matters relating to immigration, naturalization, and nationality. H.R. 13342; Pub.L. 414; 182 Stat. 66. 82nd Congress; June 27, 1952. SUMMARY “Otherwise known as the McCarran-Walter Act, the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 was meant to exclude certain immigrants from immigrating to...

Tuesday on CNN’s "AC 360," Khizr Khan, father of slain U.S. Army Capt. Humayun Khan denied the accusation he was using his son's death to advance Sharia Law. He told host Anderson Cooper that he did not stand for "any Sharia Law because there was no such thing." That statement contradicts his prior position he stated. According to a Breitbart News report, Khan has published papers supporting the supremacy of Islamic law over "man-made" Western law, which includes the U.S. Constitution.

A pocket version of the U.S. Constitution has become a best-seller on Amazon.com. […] The Constitution emerged as a best-seller days after Muslim-American lawyer Khizr Khan, whose son was killed while serving in Iraq, flashed a pocket Constitution and offered to lend it to Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump during a speech at the Democratic National Convention. The version Khan used at the convention did not appear to be the same as the one that became popular on Amazon. …

Local authorities are calling for classes on Islam to be brought in at schools across the country after a radicalized Muslim youth attacked passengers on a train with an axe on Monday.“It is appropriate to bring in classes on Islam in state schools or schools overseen by the state,” Gerd Landsberg, head of the association of local councils, told the Rheinische Post on Wednesday. In this way the state can gain more control over the upbringing of Muslim youths, Landsberg said. On Monday evening, an attacker whom investigators believe was a 17-year-old refugee from Afghanistan, seriously wounded four people with...
