Russian President Vladimir Putin is “very ill with blood cancer,” an oligarch close to the Kremlin said in a secret recording obtained by New Lines Magazine. The type of cancer was unspecified, New Lines reported in a story discussing myriad rumors about Putin’s health. “The recording represents rare testimony by someone with proven ties to the Russian government that its fanatical dictator may well be seriously unwell,” the magazine stated of the comments made during a mid-March discussion with someone described as a “Western venture capitalist.” “He absolutely ruined Russia’s economy, Ukraine’s economy and many other economies — ruined [them]...

The New Jersey governor’s race is still up in the air thanks to vote-counting debacles plaguing several counties — including in a key area where dozens of machines were shut down before ballots were counted. A mistake by a poll worker led machines in 56 voting districts in Essex County, the state’s second-most populated region, to be turned off before their ballots were tallied, local election officials said. The flub has helped throw a wrench into calling the stunningly tight race between Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy and GOP foe Jack Ciattarelli. “Those machines have to be brought back to the...

Attendees of Fyre Festival thought they were paying for a one-of-a-kind experience when they purchased tickets to what promised to be a lavish affair. Technically, they weren’t wrong – but the unique experience which awaited ticket-holders on the Bahamian festival grounds was a bit different than the luxurious, supermodel-filled affair which they’d been promised. The new festival – run by Ja Rule and Billy McFarland’s Fyre Media company – made headlines upon its announcement through a sponsored content campaign promoted on Instagram by the likes of Kendall Jenner, Emily Ratajkowski, and Bella Hadid. However, what seemed to be a glamorous...
