A small explosive device was used in an attempted ATM heist on the Central Coast. According to Seaside Police Department investigators, a person used explosives to try and steal cash from an ATM at the Bank of America in Seaside. Police said that no money was stolen. The explosive device was used between 5 and 6 a.m., Tuesday morning.
