The hearing that exposed Google political machinations went very well for a top-notch lawyer and proven excellent debater, Senator Ted Cruz. In fact Cruz made it look easy, first taking on and bring out the analysis of Dr. Robert Epstein, prominent social psychologist,  whose research shows that Google can and will swing millions of votes by the way it modifies its searches and prompts releases to Google customers. The home run statement of Dr. Epstein, who admitted he was a Democrat, is that the rock bottom lowest effect of Google in a US election is 2.5 million votes if...

A tourist was savagely beaten, stomped and spit on by a gang of over a dozen youths at the entrance to the Washington Hilton Hotel around 1 a.m. on July 14, according to Washington, D.C. police who released hotel surveillance video showing the brutal unprovoked attack. Sixteen US Marines were arrested at Camp Pendleton in California on Thursday during battalion formation for alleged illegal activities ranging from human smuggling to drug-related offenses, according to the 1st Marine Division. “Information gained from a previous human smuggling investigation precipitated the arrests,” a statement said. “None of the Marines arrested or detained for questioning served in support of the Southwest Border Support mission,” it added. Two Marines — Byron Darnell Law II and David Javier Salazar-Quintero — were arrested July 3 for allegedly transporting unauthorized immigrants as part of a smuggling operation.

Back in the day, I was one of the first people to start using Google as a search engine. I liked it’s clean interface, and simplicity. Of course, over the years, other people also found this to be the preferential search engine. Unfortunately, Google became big, powerful and yes, evil. They siphon up your personal information with zero regard to fourth amendment protections. They sell the information to the highest bidder, and give it away for free if the person is part of a government agency. Unfortunately, people like myself VALUE privacy. And that means that I no longer can...

Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), a member of the “Squad” that Democrats claim was the target of a racist attack by President Donald Trump on Sunday, told left-wing bloggers Sunday afternoon: “We don’t need any more black faces that don’t want to be a black voice.” Pressley is one of the four left-wing Democrats disparaged out last week by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) as the “Squad.” The most prominent member, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), called Pelosi’s attack racist. That, in turn, drew criticism from the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC). An all-out racially charged fight within the House Democratic...

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) argued Monday that President Trump's push to include a citizenship question on the 2020 census is an effort to "make America white again" in an adaptation of his campaign slogan. "This is about keeping — you know his hat — make America white again," Pelosi said at an event in San Francisco about election security legislation, referring to the red "Make America Great Again" hats that are popular among Trump supporters. Pelosi, like other critics of adding the citizenship question to the 2020 census, argued that it could result in racial minorities being undercounted so that...

The Jetson prototype can pick up on a unique cardiac signature from 200 meters away, even through clothes. Everyone’s heart is different. Like the iris or fingerprint, our unique cardiac signature can be used as a way to tell us apart. Crucially, it can be done from a distance. It’s that last point that has intrigued US Special Forces. Other long-range biometric techniques include gait analysis, which identifies someone by the way he or she walks. This method was supposedly used to identify an infamous ISIS terrorist before a drone strike. But gaits, like faces, are not necessarily distinctive. An...

American women's soccer co-captain Megan Rapinoe is not planning to go to the White House if the national team wins the World Cup. A reporter from Eight by Eight, a soccer magazine that looks at the sport and its place in culture, asked Rapinoe if she was excited about going to the White House if her team wins the Women's World Cup. "Psssh, I'm not going to the f*****g White House," she fired back before the reporter finished the question. "No. I'm not going to the White House. We're not gonna be invited. I doubt it." The magazine posted the...

Andrew Weissmann, a top prosecutor in special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation, has signed a book deal with publishing giant Random House, according to The New York Times and CNN. The reports of Weissmann's book deal come more than two months after the redacted version of the Mueller report was made available to the public in April. With the deal, Weissmann would be the first special counsel team member to provide a behind-the-scenes account of the nearly two-year investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

A Chicago judge appointed a special prosecutor on Friday to investigate Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx’s handling of the investigation into Jussie Smollett’s alleged hoax hate crime. Judge Michael Toomin said that Foxx’s unorthodox decision to drop all charges against Smollett absent an admission of guilt was within her authority, but suggested that her decision to hand the case over to her top deputy was improper. The special prosecutor may end up bringing charges against Smollett in connection with the staged hate crime, Toomin said. Former state appellate judge Sheila O’Brien petitioned for the appointment of a special prosecutor...

WASHINGTON (AP) — A World War I memorial in the shape of a 40-foot-tall cross can continue to stand on public land in Maryland, the Supreme Court ruled Thursday. The justices, in ruling 7-2 in favor of the cross’ backers, concluded that the nearly 100-year-old memorial’s presence on a grassy highway median doesn’t violate the First Amendment’s establishment clause, which prohibits the government from favoring one religion over others. The case had been closely watched because it involves the place of religious symbols in public life. Defenders of the cross in Bladensburg had argued that a ruling against them could...

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump has lashed out at The New York Times, saying it engaged in a "virtual act of treason" for a story that said the U.S. was ramping up its cyber-intrusions into Russia's power grid. The Times reported on Saturday that the U.S. has bored into Russian utility systems in an escalating campaign meant to deter future cyber activity by Russia. It comes as the U.S. looks for new ways to punish Russia's meddling in the 2016 presidential election and prevent a recurrence. The Times, in its official public relations account, called Trump's accusation "dangerous" and...

There was no conceivable reason for border agents to be suspicious when “Charles” flew from Brazil to Chigaco, with a final destination of Denver. But that didn’t stop them from searching his luggage, searching him, and finally searching his phone. Customs and Border Protection has been ramping up their searches of the electronics of travelers to the United States. Over 30,000 people had their electronics searched at a U.S. airport last year while traveling to or from the United States. In this interview, Charles tells me about his ordeal with the United States Customs and Border Protection. He was traveling...

British woman stabs Trump baby balloon while shouting he ‘is the best president ever’ The Trump baby blimp, which took flight in London on Tuesday to protest the president’s U.K. visit, was stabbed by Trump supporter Amy Dalla Mura, also known as “Based Amy.” In a video posted to Twitter, Mura films herself walking up to the nearly 20-foot-tall orange, inflatable baby blimp and stabs it with a sharp object, prompting shouts from surrounding protesters. “That’s a disgrace. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi openly questioned President Donald Trump's fitness to remain in office Thursday, suggesting a family or staff "intervention" for the good of the nation after his dramatic blow-up at a White House meeting with Democrats. No, said Trump's spokeswoman, it's the Democrats who are "insane" if they think he should work on legislation with them when they accuse him of engaging in a cover-up in the Trump-Russia election investigation. Both the Republican president and Democratic leaders dug in a day after Trump stalked out of the Cabinet Room demanding an end to all congressional probes before he...
