WASHINGTON SQUARE PARK, NY — A collective scream Wednesday marked a year since Donald Trump was elected leader of the U.S. Hundreds of New Yorkers gathered for the anniversary, crowding into Washington Square Park Wednesday night and howling at the top of their lungs. A year after his upset presidential victory, critics of Donald Trump took to the streets of Eugene today. As KLCC’s Brian Bull reports, the protest went primal, fast. About 30 people with the group, Indivisible Eugene, gathered near the federal courthouse, to decry the GOP tax bill, Trump’s cabinet picks, and the President’s inaction on gun control following mass shootings in Las Vegas and Texas.
