The Maryland high school student who fatally shot his ex-girlfriend and injured another student also killed himself, authorities said. Austin Rollins, 17, shot himself in the head when he was confronted by school resource officer Blaine Gaskill during the March 20 school shooting, the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office said Monday. Gaskill had arrived within a minute of Rollins shooting 16-year-old Jaelynn Willey in a hallway at Great Mills High School. A shot Gaskill fired struck the Glock handgun in Rollins’ hand. Would they have asked the same questions while Obama was President?  My daughter knows who Trump is but we don’t talk politics with her because she’s 6. An attorney from a New Jersey gun organization association announced that a lawsuit may be pending after a school disciplined two students for going to a gun range outside of school hours. The incident occurred at Richland Northeast High School on Wednesday. Aisha Evans, a custodian at the school, went into a classroom while students were outside and rummaged through three book bags, the Richland County Sheriff's Department said. In all, Evans stole $180, the department said.
