A TO THE POINT HEADS-UP I had a conversation with Bill Middendorf earlier today. Bill was the Secretary of the Navy from April 1974 to January 1978. I got to know Bill well when he was Ronald Reagan\'s Ambassador to the OAS and we worked together on support for the Contras. Bill has agreed to publicly state that to the best of his knowledge and recollection, John Kerry was dishonorably discharged from the military and fought to have this reversed while he (Bill)was SECNAV, which Bill of course refused to do. When Carter became president, Kerry secured the honorable discharge...

Midnight in South Vietnam, and the river is black. Past the rice paddies and shacks, small fires are burning by the shoreline as Lt. John H. Davis' 50-foot aluminum swift boat — PCF 19 — makes its routine patrol through the reeds.

October Surprise? The Truth Behind Kerry's Military Discharge. What's Kerry Hiding?: "I have nothing to hide. I want you to ask me questions." --John Kerry, Reuters, August 3, 2004 The only 180 John Kerry hasn't accomplished in his litany of flip-flops throughout his campaign is Standard Form 180, the paperwork necessary for the complete release of his military records from the Department of Defense repository. The Kerry campaign and website continue to claim he has released all military records. In fact, they've released the few documents painting the senator in a favorable light. There are at least 100 pages, promising...

A non-profit Florida group is purchasing air time this weekend in major markets in eight battleground states to show a 30-minute television special featuring Swift Boat Veterans and POWs for Truth, the group challenging Sen. John Kerry's version of his war record and his antiwar activities. With 13 stations already lined up, including five in Florida, Campaign Truth says it can broadcast the special on three more stations if it can raise an additional $15,000 by noon Eastern time today.

MANCHESTER—Members of the Swift Boat Veterans and POWs for Truth came to New Hampshire yesterday, bringing their attack on Sen. John Kerry for his post-Vietnam War activities. The veterans said they feel the anti-war statements Kerry made as a leader of Vietnam Veterans Against the War bother them more than any questions that their group has raised about his war medals. They say his work helped the enemy and caused prisoners of war greater distress, prolonging their captivity when he alleged that U.S. servicemen committed atrocities against Vietnamese civilians. Democrats dispute the claims, saying Kerry at the time spoke for...

RECENTLY, my son asked me, “Dad, is it true about the Swift Boats and their men as written in the book ‘Tour of Duty’ by Douglas Brinkley?” After reading the book myself, I want to publicly answer my son, as well as family, friends and acquaintances who know I was a Swift Boat officer. It is also time for me to defend my and other Swiftees’ reputations and credibility that John Kerry, his campaign and his many media supporters continue to smear, as they falsely proclaim that we are misfits, liars and politically motivated and funded. Swift Boat veterans are...

We did it! Thanks to wonderful citizens such as you, we have raised enough money to get our message into Pennsylvania. Our ads started playing this morning. The importance of this cannot be understated. We have obtained an email from the Kerry campaign which proves his campaign has been actively blocking the ability of the POWs to have their video Stolen Honor played. Three different venues have been booked in the Philadelphia area, and in each instance, the facility cancelled after various threats. It just seems so unfair to us that a man like Michael Moore can readily have his...

The new swiftboat ad is much better on the TV than on the web. The final line, john kerry can't be trusted is VERY strong. It is time to pony up. The Swifty are our last line of defense. Would you spend $1,000 to make sure your childern don't have to live under a Kerry government? Thinkn of this investment. We can not do much else, but we can put wood on the fire. sent money, NOW ivanhead

Honor to the Soldier, and Sailor everywhere, who bravely bears his country's cause. Honor also to the citizen who cares for his brother in the field, and serves, as he best can, the same cause - honor to him, only less than to him, who braves, for the common good, the storms of heaven and the storms of battle. -- President Abraham Lincoln, December 2, 1863 In 1971, a Vietnam veteran wrote a speech defending the honor of the servicemen and women who served in that war and its surrounding theaters of operation. He hoped to present it before Congress,...

Sorry for the length, but I have cut it down as much as I can, it being after midnight and I’m out of steam….. This is but a cursory look at the new anti-America propaganda...

In Fox's partial transcript of the recent stupid _Oh, Really? Factor_, when it's time for Brinkley's first utterance, he's introduced as: DOUGLAS BRINKLEY, AUTHOR, "TOUR OF DIRTY": No kidding! Typo? Or easter egg? It just can't be a typo, ya know? Too funny.
