The vice chair of California's Republican party supported a rally on Monday at San Jose City Hall to demand answers to the violence that erupted at the Donald Trump rally last week. Harmeet Dhillon, who is a Trump backer and an attorney in San Jose, said she is in favor of a group called Silicon Valley Vet, who is asking San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo how the Thursday rally got so out of hand. Trump's critics were seen as the main antagonists of the raucous behavior, which included egging, bruising and punches.

Two groups Of Bernie supporters beat each other up. It was an honest mistake ... each thought the other group supported Trump!

There they go again. In San Jose last week, lefty demonstrators rioted against typical Americans leaving a Donald Trump rally, and the mayor of San Jose blamed Donald Trump for the violence. In the 21st century, in a democratic republic where “the people rule,” what is going on? I had my come-to-Jesus moment about this when a liberal friend told me a few years ago that she had always wanted to get into activism. Then, while auditing philosophy courses at the University of Washington in Seattle, I heard two young women on two different occasions testified that politics, for them,...

House Speaker Paul Ryan and Hillary Clinton on Friday condemned Donald Trump's racially tinged attacks on a judge overseeing a lawsuit against Trump University. Look, the comment about the judge, just was out of left field for my mind," Ryan said on WISN in Milwaukee. "It's reasoning I don't relate to, I completely disagree with the thinking behind that." And then Ryan issued a warning to Trump that he will speak out when he feels he needs to. "So he clearly says and does things I don't agree with and I've had to speak up on time to time when...

Donald Trump urged his supporters during a Monday conference call to defend his controversial accusation that a federal judge is unfit to rule in a Trump University fraud case because of his Hispanic heritage, Bloomberg reported. Trump was defiant, despite the rash of criticism he's faced from Republicans and Democrats alike, according to a description of the call to Bloomberg by two supporters who participated. "We will overcome," Trump said. "And I’ve always won and I’m going to continue to win. And that’s the way it is." He went on to declare that his surrogates should specifically target journalists who...

The curriculum vitae of Trump University Judge Gonzalo Curiel specifically mentions his affiliation with the Hispanic National Bar Association, or HNBA. The Hispanic National Bar Association published a press release on July 2nd 2015 which specifically stated their intention to target the “business interests” of Donald Trump: Full July 2nd Press Release available HERE Now, I doubt you could find a more conformational reason for Donald Trump to be concerned about a Judge overseeing the Trump University lawsuit, which everyone admits is based on some sketchy legal standing, than Judge Curiel specifically belonging to a legal enterprise of affiliates who...

“This is one of the worst mistakes Trump has made. I think it’s inexcusable.” Those words were spoken by Newt Gingrich – a man believed to be on Donald Trump’s Vice Presidential shortlist – during an interview on “Fox News Sunday.” What mistake had the presumptive Republican nominee made that he earned the rebuke of an ally?

With all this focus on LaRaza, I must say it baffles me as to what people think. Whites in particular act as if any of these race based organizations are innocuous, are not 'racist'. There are hundreds if not thousands of these raced based political and lobbying groups. The Hispanic Caucus for example. What do whites think these groups do? In our so called colorblind society how does any of this work?

The rise of Donald Trump has exposed the frightening underbelly of America’s foulest tendencies. Our racism, nativism, xenophobia, misogyny, Islamophobia, ableism, and propensity toward authoritarianism have been laid bare. Reactions from those who stand opposed to these manifestations of oppression have varied from calm condemnation and routine peaceful protests, to blockades of roads and borderline riotous outbursts, including sporadic violence in various cities. This isn’t a coincidence. There are so many examples of Trump inciting violence the New York Times put together this video documenting some of them. A powerful video juxtaposing his longing for the violence against protestors from...

WASHINGTON — Speaker Paul D. Ryan on Tuesday called Donald J. Trump’s criticism of a Hispanic-American judge “the textbook definition of a racist comment” and said he “regrets” the remark. But Mr. Ryan also reiterated his support for Mr. Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, against Hillary Clinton. “I disavow these comments — I regret those comments that he made,” Mr. Ryan said after announcing a new Republican anti-poverty initiative in Anacostia, an overwhelmingly black neighborhood in Washington. “Claiming a person can’t do their job because of their race is sort of like the textbook definition of a racist comment,”...

Here we go again. Republican presumptive nominee Donald Trump has done it this time. His attacks on the Mexican heritage of federal Judge Gonzalo Curiel clearly show that Trump's campaign is off the rails. The proof is that even prominent Republican leaders like House Speaker Paul Ryan and former Speaker Newt Gingrich have disavowed themselves from Trump's attacks on the judge. Surely, this is the beginning of the Trump campaign's self-destruction! Not so fast my friends. Let me rewrite the opening paragraph to represent the true Trump strategy here, one I don't endorse but still recognize for what it is:...

Yesterday saw yet another series of attacks upon peaceful Donald Trump supporters by violent, open borders Marxists. Predominately, although not exclusively Mexican. Naturally, this prompted the news media-with a few notable exceptions-to castigate the people who were peaceably assembling. Hats off to the cretinous lackwits at Vox though, for actually endorsing Robespierrean political terror. Remind me again why building a wall is a bad thing? Hopefully, Newt will address this subject, among others, in his periodic Facebook live chat. You can watch Newt Live here.

I was stunned over the weekend when Newt Gingrich went hard after Donald Trump for the real estate mogul's comments about the ethnicity of a judge overseeing a case involving Trump University. *snip* Given that back and forth, I reached out to Gingrich to see what he made of the hubbub — and whether it had changed his generally positive views on Trump. It has not. Here's what Newt told me: Trump is going to be fine as a candidate. He is learning very rapidly. When [Ted] Cruz dropped out so early it took away the 60 days Trump and...

San Jose, California disgraced itself last week, allowing rioters to attack people exiting a political rally for the presumptive Republican nominee for president. Now, thanks to Aleister of Gateway Pundit, we know that the police chief of that city, Eddie Garcia, who admitted that he instructed his officers not to intervene and arrest the attackers, is aligned with an extremist race-based group, La Raza (Spanish for “The Race”)

The woman who captured national attention Thursday night after she was egged at a Donald Trump rally – and then smiled about it – is asking for people to help oust the mayor of San Jose. Rachel Casey, identified by her Facebook posts, LinkedIn profile and by people who know her, posted one of at least two petitions to get Mayor Sam Liccardo to resign from his post. As of Monday, one petition, started by a man in Texas, had 3,600 supporters. Another petition, started by a man in Minnesota, also asks for the mayor’s resignation, and had more than...

On June 2, a few days before the California primary, Hillary Clinton gave up trying to compete with Bernie Sanders on domestic policy. Instead, she zeroed in on the soft target of Donald Trump’s most “bizarre rants” in order to present herself as experienced and reasonable. Evidently taking her Democratic Party nomination for granted, she is positioning herself as the perfect candidate for hawkish Republicans. Choosing to speak in San Diego, home base of the U.S. Pacific Fleet, on a platform draped with 19 American flags and preceded by half an hour of military marching music, Hillary Clinton was certain...

On Thursday night Trump supporters were assaulted, spit on, beaten, cold-cocked, egged, chased, tackled and bloodied as they left the San Jose Trump rally by mobs of far left, Mexican nationalist, Socialist, SEIU and anarchist thugs. Trump supporters were left bloodied and beaten in the street. The San Jose police chief admitted he held back from interfering when the conservatives were beat down in the streets. Video released on Monday shows street thugs terrorizing and beating Hispanic Trump supporters. ... Speaker Paul Ryan has posted over 50 tweets since Friday morning. Not once did he mention the Republican beatdown. Senate...

Perhaps realizing initial statements gave short shrift to the violent episodes outside of Donald Trump’s rally Thursday night at the San Jose Convention Center, both Mayor Sam Liccardo and the San Jose police released additional comments Friday. SJPD initially limited its release of information regarding the violent clashes to noting an officer was assaulted and a “few” people were arrested. Liccardo commended police in his original statement, but seemed to have it both ways in blaming Trump and the people who participated in assaults taking place in the streets following the rally. In an email blast Friday morning, Liccardo came...
