CHULA VISTA (CBS 8/CNS) - A shooting involving a federal law enforcement officer in the area of an Eastlake-area strip mall left one suspect dead Tuesday afternoon. The gunfire in the 2300 block of Proctor Valley Road in Chula Vista was reported about 2 p.m. The shooting apparently involved a U.S. Homeland Security agent investigating some kind of illegal drug activity, Chula Vista police Lt.
