Churches across San Antonio are expressing outrage over a proposed anti-discrimination law that would protect LGBT workers but would not provide a religious exemption and would effectively prohibit anyone who opposes homosexuality from holding public office or getting a city contract. The San Antonio City Council is doing some housecleaning to combine all of its anti-discrimination rules and ordinances into one. SAN ANTONIO -- A father was tazed by San Antonio police while trying to save his infant boy from a house fire. The incident occurred at around 2:30 a.m. Sunday during a house fire in the 100 block of Morningview Drive. Investigators said the parents of the eight-month-old boy had dropped off their children at their grandparents' house. Somehow, a fire got started inside the home shortly thereafter.
