Beirut A nephew of deposed Iraqi president Saddam Hussein has been arrested in Beirut by Interpol on suspicion of crimes against the Iraqi people, it was confirmed Wednesday. "The criminal Bashar Sabaawi was arrested in cooperation with Interpol," the statement was quoted as saying. Lebanese security sources confirmed to Deutsche Presse-Agentur dpa that Sabaawi was arrested within the past 48 hours as he was about to leave the country.
