I loved the Rush Limbaugh show. I have been listening to it for years and have always been comforted by his ever-increasing audience. It showed that conservative ideas work. The show serves a purpose — a purpose that we need fulfilled more now than ever. Unfortunately, it is not serving that purpose fully now. Rather than building on his legacy, we are wallowing in the sadness of his loss. The guest hosts are very good — especially Mark Steyn — but the show is deteriorating into a daily homage to Rush. A statement from Kathryn Limbaugh and family said Rush Hudson Limbaugh III was honorably laid to rest Wednesday in St. Louis, with close immediate family in attendance. There will be additional celebrations of Rush's life to come both virtually and in his home town of Cape Girardeau, the statement said. It was later confirmed that Limbaugh was buried at Bellefontaine Cemetery, a historic cemetery in St. Louis where many other famous Missourians have been laid to rest.

They claimed that Rush was well known for making “racist and sexist comments”. Then, as an example, they played a tape (while printing the words on screen) of Rush saying: “We need segregated buses.... this is Obama’s America!” Racist ? Really ? Rush was talking about Obama’s statement that “Republicans need to get to the back of the bus.” Rush’s statement had NOTHING to do with race.
