One of the few Republicans in the country who's been tirelessly pushing for the implementation of Obamacare at the state level has been tapped to head Mitt Romney's transition team, should he become president. Former HHS Secretary Michael Leavitt, and his consulting group Leavitt Partners, are the primary advocates within Republican circles for implementation of Obamacare's exchanges. It just so happens that his consultancy is one of the major beneficiaries of the taxpayer funded gold mine of hundreds of millions of dollars in exchange implementation grants. But that's a coincidence, of course.

WASHINGTON (AP) — NBC has asked GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney to pull a television ad that's made up almost entirely of a 1997 "Nightly News" report on Newt Gingrich's ethics committee reprimand. ......NBC spokeswoman Lauren Kapp says the network's legal department has asked the campaign to remove all NBC News material from its ads. Brokaw says he's "extremely uncomfortable with the extended use" of his image. Romney spokesman Rick Gorka says the campaign hasn't received formal notification from NBC and had no immediate comment.

Some investments listed in Mitt and Ann Romney's 2010 tax returns – including a now-closed Swiss bank account and other funds located overseas – were not explicitly disclosed in the personal financial statement the GOP presidential hopeful filed in August as part of his White House bid.
