What you say on 911 is recorded.  It can and will be used against you in a court of law.  My friend and publisher of numerous books on gun laws, Alan Korwin, says that in the vast majority of cases where people involved in self defense scenarios end up in serious legal difficulties, it is what they said on 911 that got them into trouble.  He expounds on this in his book "After You Shoot".   In a recent case in Florida, both male participants made errors.  One is dead and one has been charged.         I...

However, the chaos quickly ended as onlookers noted hearing a single pop. As it turns out, Klimek had shot Naim in the face, fully neutralizing the threat. Emergency services took the...

Mr. Allen has exited the "golf cart" and is drawing a concealed handgun Robert A. Heinlein wrote that an armed society is a polite society.    Many in the gun culture echo this sentiment.   Every firearms trainer that I have met paraphrases it in some way.  Here is an example: Carrying a firearm is a tremendous responsibility.   The results of having to use the firearm will follow you the rest of your life.   The best way to avoid using it is to avoid confrontations.   Be quick to apologize, and ready to walk away from conflict.   Except for "walking" this advice...

YouTuber Tim Linton, who had just installed a dash-cam on his vehicle the previous day, captured the incident on film.  From what we understand, it all started at the 35-second mark when the fifth-gen Camaro driver tried to squeeze in front of the truck from the right lane. Instead of just slowing down, the pickup accelerated and the two drivers started bickering on the road.  The Camaro driver tailgated the pickup, and the pickup driver responded by riding right next to the large truck on the right hand side blocking the other motorist's way. Moments later, the Chevy driver tried to overtake the...
