Well, I knew I shouldn't have said anything. A few days ago I bragged in this space about having overcome my years-long addiction to the New York Times. Then, in the wake of President Trump's remark on Saturday in Melbourne, Florida, about “last night in Sweden,” I noticed on Facebook that the Times had run a “news story” by one Sewell Chan headlined “‘Last Night in Sweden’? Trump’s Remark Baffles a Nation.” I couldn't resist.   As it turned out, of course, Trump hadn't baffled the entire Swedish nation. What had really happened was that a great many members of...

Two days after President Donald Trump was eviscerated by both the mainstream media and Swedish officials for his comments indicating Sweden was having a problem with its generous refugee policies, riots erupted in the country. Mr. Trump was largely mocked for the comments he made at a Florida rally over the weekend, where he used Sweden has an example to justify his extreme vetting policy. “We’ve got to keep our country safe,” Mr. Trump said at the rally. “You look at what’s happening in Germany. You look at what’s happening last night in Sweden. Sweden, who would believe this? Sweden....

Migrant rioting broke out in a migrant enclave in Sweden on Monday night. This comes two days after President Trump said the migrant situation in Sweden was out of control. And it comes hours after Prime Minister Stefan Lofven ridiculed President Trump for his comments. It seems that Muslim immigrants are slowly taking over Sweden. We know that a 60 MINUTES crew had been attacked in an attempt to cover Sweden’s progress in dealing with the growing population of Muslim immigrants. Liz Hayes and the 60 Minutes crew were attacked while filming a report. . After accepting almost 165,000 refugees in 2015, Sweden is described as “starting to buckle” from the strain on its infrastructure. Now, the report that was being filmed, complete with gripping footage of Hayes and members of the 60 Minutes crew being attacked and targeted with projectiles in Rinkeby Sweden, known...

COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) — Swedish police say riots broke out overnight in a predominantly immigrant Stockholm suburb after officers arrested a suspect on drug charges. Spokesman Lars Bystrom said Tuesday that unidentified people, including some wearing masks, threw rocks at police, set cars on fire and looted shops in Rinkeby. One officer was slightly injured when hit by a rock. No arrests were made. Bystrom says one officer fired his gun, not as a warning shot but because he was "in a situation that demanded he used his firearm."

It would appear the mainstream media (along with several celebrities and Swedish politicians) is going to be apologizing to President Trump once again. Having spent the entire new cycle trying to ignore the immigrant crisis facing Sweden, and pin the ignorant tail on Trump, both Dagbladet and Expressen reports riots breaking out in the highly immigrant concentrated Stockholdm borough of Rinkeby, Sweden with police firing warning shots as 100s of young people throw stones and burn cars. During the evening hundreds of young people gathered in the center of Rinkeby, well known for its high concentration of immigrants and people...

Organizing for Action, the activist group that morphed from Barack Obama’s first presidential campaign, has partnered with the newly-formed Indivisible Project for “online trainings” on how to protest President Donald Trump’s agenda. Last week, Breitbart News extensively reported that Indivisible leaders are openly associated with groups financed by billionaire George Soros. Politico earlier this month profiled Indivisible in an article titled, “Inside the protest movement that has Republicans reeling.” The news agency not only left out the Soros links, but failed to note that the organizations cited in its article as helping to amplify Indivisible’s message are either financed directly...

Following yesterday's "Day Without Immigrants Boycott" in which immigrants all around the country were encourged to skip work/school, shut down their businesses and/or boycott restaurants and retail stores, America's disaffected, millennial youth have decided that they too would like to participate in an anti-Trump protest whereby they could exercise their skills in extreme laziness while also extending their 3-day weekend to 4 days...BONUS! Deemed the "Strike4Democrary", anti-Trump protesters took to the streets all around the country today to demand that Trump "STOP attacking and victimizing women, Muslims, immigrants, racial and ethnic groups, the LGBTQ+ community, working families, journalists, and all...

The UC Police Department is asking the community for help with its investigation into the Feb. 1 protest on campus triggered by the slated appearance of far-right provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos. The protest, which began peacefully, turned violent when it was disrupted by 100-150 mostly black-clad agitators. An estimated $600,000 worth of damage was done on campus and in downtown Berkeley, and several people sustained injuries. In an alert sent out Friday morning, UCPD published photos of 21 individual protesters it believes are suspects, as well as four photos of groups of people (view photos). It is asking that the community...

French police have been filmed fleeing from armed mobs as riots continue in Paris for the second week and the unrest has now spread to the city centre. Hundreds of violent thugs took to the streets on Wednesday night near the Barbes Metro station, close to the major transport hub Gare du Nord. Windows were smashed, shops looted, fires lit, main roads blocked, and police cars targeted during the disturbance. According to Le Figaro, the destruction is getting worse. At the beginning of the week, on the nights of the 12th and 13th, 32 vehicles were burnt out. On the...

Officers were forced to unleash tear-gas on angry crowds as buildings and rubbish bins were set on fire around the Barbes Metro station, which is just around the corner from the Eurostar hub at Gare du Nord.   As fire crews went in to extinguish the blazes, lines of riot police were attacked, and shops were looted.  A policeman at the scene said: “Windows have been smashed and officers attacked.   “Small groups of protestors wearing hoods to hide their identities are causing trouble and then running away.

CNN’s Marc Lamont Hill, who is also a professor at Morehouse College, claimed that right-wing students incite riots on college campuses while discussing the Berkeley riots left-wing students over the appearance of Breitbart News’ MILO. Speaking after the UC Berkeley riots, CNN commentator Ben Ferguson argued that campus leftists need to learn how to respond to speech with less destructive means. “Liberals need to grow up on college campuses because people are actually getting hurt now,” Ferguson said the day after the riots. In response, Hill suggested that right-wing students engage in similar destructive behavior on college campuses, but when...

It was the first black bloc for Neil Lawrence, a third-year undergraduate student at the University of California, Berkeley. He had demonstrated with Black Lives Matter and seen people in bandannas show up at events and smash things. But after the Berkeley College Republicans announced controversial Breitbart News editor Milo Yiannopoulos would be speaking on campus, Lawrence decided it was time for a more aggressive form of protest. “It became clear to me and my close friends that the tone of living in America is changing, and in order to stop being scared, we started organizing,” he says. “I, a...

POLICE in Paris are struggling to cope with the fall out from a plague of riots which have kicked off in the city’s northern suburbs. Five large areas have been reduced to no go areas for the past five nights as masked men cause mayhem on the streets. Now there are fears the fall out from allegations of police brutality could spread all over the country as unrest in the city grows. Residents have been on lockdown as armed police tried to tackle the rioters who have caused millions of pounds of damage. The areas of Aulnay-Sous-Bois, Aulnay, Argenteuil, Bobigny...

I see young people interviewed on television who can't even articulate the reason they are protesting. Others bent on destruction who probably espouse no cause but chaos. I've seen hysterical protestors screaming about First Amendment rights which they seem to think only protects them and those who think like them and that the opposition has no first amendment protection and should be shouted down at all costs. The rhetoric is becoming hotter and more nonsensical, the radical element more apparent, the violence and destruction of property more common place. The pot is boiling and it’s only a matter of time...

About forty South Korean tourists were robbed in Paris at the weekend when men climbed aboard their coach shouting threats. Witness statements from the event, described by South Korea’s leading news agency Yonhap as “ten minutes of horror”, revealed that one of the intruders threatened tourists on the coach with an object “resembling a glass bottle”. The coachload of tourists were driving back to their hotel in Saint-Denis at the time of the attack. The neighbourhood is in close proximity to areas of Paris affected by ongoing violence as anti-police protesters riot over the assault of a black youth worker...

PORTLAND, Ore. – Detectives on Thursday arrested two men accused of damaging several Northwest Portland businesses during a post-election protest that devolved into a riot last November. Protesters marched through the streets of Portland for five straight nights in opposition to the election of Donald Trump. Several people damaged cars and businesses in Portland's Pearl District. Investigators identified 19-year-old Elijah K. Gerard and 19-year-old David Deron Lewis Jr. as suspects after the two men were seen in photos and videos damaging property. Gerard damaged a Jeep and assaulted the driver, police said. He’s also accused of damaging Seres Restaurant and...
