New GOP ad The GOP has released a new attack ad against Democrats. But whereas its first ad had depicted a compilation of liberal Democrats behaving like “an unhinged mob,” its new ad published Friday features media news reports documenting the acts of violence being carried out against Republicans. The news reports cover everything from Republican Sen. Susan Collins’ husband receiving a threatening letter allegedly containing ricin to a Republican campaign manager in Nevada suffering bruises to her neck and arms after being accosted by a Democrat operative. The reports also cite the assault of two Republican operatives in Minnesota...

Vermont State Police are investigating a threatening letter to a Republican candidate for the Vermont House of Representatives. Colchester House candidate Deserae Morin, who is running for office for the first time, received an anonymous letter in the mail to her home address on Friday. A photo of the letter sent out with the statement shows a message constructed out of cut-out letters fixed to a piece of paper. “We are hunting you. My comrades will kill you and the Constitution,” it states. The letter threatens her with sexual violence. “You will scream and know that agonizing horror,” it reads....

There’s only one non-violent way for us to win…that’s via an insurmountable vote for Republicans. Vote for your own and your family’s survival on November 6! And…then pray hard. If nothing else, Democrat operatives are good at following the orders of their betters. They have followed California Rep. Mad Max Waters’ command to go after Republicans “wherever you find them” and “I have no sympathy for these people that are in this administration who know it’s wrong for what they’re doing on so many fronts. They tend to not want to confront this president or even leave, but they know...

The crimes of abortionist and serial killer Kermit Gosnell are, by now, well known. But another abortionist is currently under investigation by the FBI: Douglas Karpen, who has come to be known as the “Texas Gosnell.” In 2011, Karpen appeared before the Texas Medical Board following multiple complaints, but they were all dismissed. In 2013, however, the voices against him grew louder as staffers from his abortion facility began to come forward, accusing him of committing grisly late-term abortions, after which babies were sometimes born alive. Instead of getting them medical attention, as federal law requires, Karpen would instead —...

QUESTION:....when the 'blue wave' fails to materialize in 2018 midterms… and the Democrats fall even further behind in both the House and Senate… Will the current growing vandalism and intimidation turn even more desperate by the left? If so… And I believe it will… what will the response be from the right? Timothy Keller has argued that historical Christian positions on controversial social issues do not fit with America's two-party political system. Keller, a best-selling author and founder of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City, wrote in an op-ed for The New York Times on Saturday that the Christian approach to social issues could be attacked both by the left and the right. "For example, following both the Bible and the early church, Christians should be committed to racial justice and the poor, but also to the understanding that sex is only for marriage and for nurturing family," he wrote. "One...

For the last century control of the United States has cycled between the 19th Century Democratic and Republican parties. Voters choose between the old ideas of the Democratic Party and the old ideas of the Republican Party. The two parties are mired in the same old partisan conflicts election after election. The Democrats in particular seem more interested in playing partisan political games than in dealing seriously with the nation's problems. Republicans are increasingly following their example. Millennials need to decide whether they want to continue the politics of their grandparents' generation or replace the 19th Century parties with 21st...

This is going to be a hellacious week. And by hellacious, I mean a total mess. The Democrats are out for blood. The GOP is still figuring out what the hell they’re going to do—and the rest of us get a front row seat to gutter politics in its purest form. In other words, what politics is and what it has always been: a sewer fight. At the end of the day, to get something done, someone has to be defeated. Someone has to lose. On one side, the Democrats shudder at the thought of a solid conservative majority on...

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Forty-five percent of Americans now have a favorable view of the Republican Party, a nine-point gain from last September's 36%. It is the party's most positive image since it registered 47% in January 2011, shortly after taking control of the House in the 2010 midterm elections. Forty-four percent give the Democratic Party a favorable rating. The parity in Republicans' and Democrats' favorable ratings marks a change from what has generally been the case since Barack Obama's election as president in November 2008. Republicans have usually been rated less positively than Democrats over this time, with the Republican...

In a decision that appears to flout Nevada election law, a Las Vegas judge has nullified the results of a Republican primary election. Jason Burke defeated Mack Miller by 122 votes in the June 12 primary for state Assembly District 5, but a judge declared Miller “the rightful winner of the election” because Burke did not file campaign finance reports in time. “This is certainly a novel case that I haven’t seen before,” said Las Vegas attorney Daniel Stewart, who specializes in Nevada election law. “But no two election contests are the same, and it seems like every election cycle...

The L Brands CEO had previously condemned Donald Trump’s response to Charlottesville in a speech to employees. Ohio billionaire and longtime Republican donor Les Wexner says he is officially done with the party, and was prompted to leave after former President Barack Obama visited the state. Wexner, the CEO of retail conglomerate L Brands, which owns Victoria’s Secret and Bath & Body Works, announced at a leadership summit in Columbus on Thursday that he “won’t support this nonsense in the Republican Party” anymore, The Columbus Dispatch reported. The announcement, made at a panel discussion, came the same day Obama visited...

The double whammy is that Wyoming voting law allows people to register or change their party affiliation at the polling place on voting day and vote in whichever primary they choose. So RINOs are chosen in the Republican primary by Democrat voters pretending for a day to be Republicans. It makes a travesty of the two-party system and cheats Republicans of getting to select their own candidates. Their preferred candidate, Mark Gordon, beat the conservative frontrunner, Foster Friess, by approximately 6-9,000 votes (the official count isn't in yet), well within the margin provided by Democrat voters. Comparing this year's primary...

“Queer Eye” star Jonathan Van Ness had to defend himself on Wednesday after he was ripped for urging his fans to be tolerant of other ideas and saying that not all Republicans were evil and racist. Van Ness decided to get political on Twitter following the results of Tuesday’s primary results. “Luckily a lot [of] extreme right people won yesterday, meaning that if we can come up w center left candidates we can take back the house & senate, not to mention many state legislatures. It is so important for the left to not go too left or we are...

Republican, maverick, Matthew Cory has been declared the winner of the Republican U.S. Senate primary in the great state of Connecticut, this evening. He will face, the boring useless, incompetent, do nothing, Trump hating, Democrat, Chris Murphy, who has been declared a "safe seat" for the Democrat Party. Mr. Cory is a blue collar worker, a building window washer and owner of a local bar. He has little money or funds for campaigning. Thus far, he has held local, small, little house meetings as best he could. But...I think folks in Connecticut have taken heed of this talented, self-taught, human...

A San Francisco Bay Area police chief said his family is "shaken to the core" after his son was arrested in the beating of a 71-year-old Sikh man. Tyrone McAllister, 18, and a 16-year-old boy could face charges including attempted robbery, elder abuse and assault following Monday's attack in the city of Manteca. Police say they are investigating the attack as a robbery, not a hate crime, The Modesto Bee newspaper reported. McAllister is the son of Union City Police Chief Darryl McAllister, who wrote Wednesday on Facebook that "words can barely describe how embarrassed, dejected, and hurt my wife,...

Left-wing Nazis: If anyone still believes that conservatives and Trump supporters are ‘the problem’ in America, they need to turn off CNN and MSNBC for a few weeks and explore different avenues of information. Because with each passing day it becomes increasingly obvious that the American Left is not only creating an environment of hypocrisy and intolerance, they are destroying civility in the process. This was all on display again in recent days at the University of Georgia, where the dean of the institution’s school of journalism was forced to apologize because he dared to congratulate a Republican friend.
