Rasmussen Poll: 30% of Democrat voters say they're Very Likely/Somewhat Likely to vote for Trump.

A newly released poll revealed that Americans aren’t putting up with big business unleashing faux outrage at states attempting to protect their electoral processes. Rasmussen Reports released a survey of 1,000 American adults showing that 37 percent of Americans were less likely to purchase Coca-Cola products. Rasmussen said that the results were due to the company’s liberal political stance against Georgia’s recent law protecting voter integrity. In addition, the survey found that Americans opposed major businesses attempting to influence politics “[b]y more than a 3-to-1 margin.” Perhaps Coca-Cola and others should learn that leftist virtue-signaling doesn’t necessarily pay dividends.

Donald Trump’s week got off to a rough start. First his favorite morning show tears into him, and now his favorite pollster seems to be throwing some shade his way. In a hypothetical head-to-head match in 2020, Trump would only get to a 45/45 tie against the woman he vanquished in 2016, according to Rasmussen Reports. When we say “hypothetical,†though, we really mean hypothetical: Some have speculated that if Joe Biden falters in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination, Hillary Clinton will jump in. In a repeat matchup of the 2016 election, Clinton runs dead even with President...

Are concerns over Hillary Clinton’s health changing the equation?

Last week, the Rasmussen poll-which the media says has a 3.1% bias in favor of Republicans-found Donald Trump leading Hillary Clinton by 7 points. And someone has forgotten to send instructions to the LA Times because their poll shows Trump leading by 3 points. Three MSM polls have Donald Trump trailing Hillary Clinton by between 3 and 7 points. Looking at the few internal numbers these polls provide makes one wonder how CNN reports Clinton up 49/42; NBC/ASJ Clinton up 46/41 and ABC/WaPo Clinton up 47/43. These offerings beg the question: How did they arrive at these numbers? The answer...

Since February 8th, Mitt Romney has led only once in the Rasmussen poll of likely Ohio voters and that was ages ago, in May. At the beginning of October, Obama was ahead by the thinnest of margins, just 1 point. But results from the Sunday, October 28th poll show Romney with a 2 point lead, 50-48, breaking the 48-48 tie of the previous week. (1) Nearly one third of Ohio voters have already cast their ballots and among these early voters, Obama has a lead of 62%-36%. But according to Rasmussen, the good news is that “… Romney has a...

A poll taken monthly by Rasmussen has received very little attention from the Obama campaigners in the mainstream media. It is the poll of Party Affiliation and it is published on the Rasmussen site going back to 2004. (3) Why should this poll be taken AT LEAST as seriously as any polling result by any polling company in the US? Simple. Because the “…poll of party identification corresponds with the results of national elections.” (1) Look at the results in various election years since 2004 as they compare with Rasmussen’s political party identification numbers. In 2004, George Bush narrowly won...

As consumers get some welcome relief from painful gasoline prices heading into the Fourth of July holiday, President Barack Obama’s approval ratings on his handling of the economy have also taken a dip for the same reason: worsening economic conditions. Just 33 percent of Americans now believe the president is doing a “good” or “excellent” job when it comes to the economy, according to a Rasmussen poll. That’s down from 41 percent at the beginning of May, which could be yet another sign that the president’s re-election chances are tied more to the economy than to any other political issue....

Democratic National Committee Chairman Debbie Wasserman Schultz not only alienated the GOP when she accused the Republicans of wanting to bring back "Jim Crow" because they support voter-ID at the polls, she lined up against the feelings of three-quarters of the country. A new national telephone survey conducted by Rasmussen Reports finds that 75 percent of likely U.S. voters “believe voters should be required to show photo identification, such as a driver’s license, before being allowed to vote.” [Read RNC Chairman Reince Priebus: Anti Voter Fraud Reforms Are Practical, Not Partisan.] The problem for Democrats, who almost universally oppose the...

A congressional race with an official Tea Party candidate in the running appears to be good news for Democrats. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely U.S. Voters finds that in a three-way congressional contest with a Tea Party candidate on the ballot, the Democrat picks up 40% of the vote. The Republican earns 21% support, while nearly as many (18%) favor the Tea Party candidate. Twenty-one percent (21%), however, remain undecided. Poll numbers continue to remain sour for Obama and friends. According to a new Rasmussen Report survey released today, 28% of likely voters believe the country is headed in the right direction, compared to 66% who think we’re on the wrong track. When health care bill initially passed, this number peaked at a meager 35%, but has since dipped down to the levels found prior to its passage. A solid chunk of those who believe we’re...

Among those who feel strongly either way, there has been a drop from 32-40, to 27-44. Forty-four percent ties the peak Obama has ever hit for strongly disapprove. In general, Rasmussen numbers have been more volatile since health care reform was approved. There are days in which Obama's approval numbers are much higher than the average for the prior few months, and other periods when his numbers sink to...
