Fans were removed from Fenway Park during Wednesday's game between the Oakland Athletics and Boston Red Sox after a banner with the caption "Racism is as American as baseball" was hung from the Green Monster. Comcast SportsNet New England's Evan Drellich provided an image of the banner being displayed: https://twitter.com/EvanDrellich/status/908123806723604480 Marly Rivera, third base umpire Joe West and Boston police officials worked in conjunction with Fenway Park security to remove the fans holding the sign from the stadium. The fans unraveled the sign and displayed it on the Green Monster in left field after the top of the fourth inning....

Almost everyone except those psychologically and politically dependent on accusing others of being racists can agree that racism is evil. I think almost everyone except those malignant defamers, who denounce all with whom they disagree as racist, can agree that all people are fundamentally equal and must be treated equally; that all definable groups of people are equal in their human merit; and that all such groups, unless they are defined by sociopathic goals, should be proud of whatever it is that defines them as a group. I cannot think of a more stupid and unjust reason for hiring or...

IT IS INSUFFICIENT TO STATE the obvious of Donald Trump: that he is a white man who would not be president were it not for this fact. With one immediate exception, Trump’s predecessors made their way to high office through the passive power of whiteness—that bloody heirloom which cannot ensure mastery of all events but can conjure a tailwind for most of them. Land theft and human plunder cleared the grounds for Trump’s forefathers and barred others from it. Once upon the field, these men became soldiers, statesmen, and scholars; held court in Paris; presided at Princeton; advanced into the...

With a dizzying fanfare, she was brought in as the 'face of modern diversity'. In a lengthy Facebook rant, she wrote: 'Honestly I don't have energy to talk about the racial violence of white people any more. Yes ALL white people. 'Because most of ya'll don't even realise or refuse to acknowledge that your existence, privilege and success as a race is built on the backs, blood and death of people of colour. Your entire existence is drenched in racism. From micro-aggressions to terrorism, you guys built the blueprint for this s***.

The cosmetic company, L’Oreal, has run into difficulty with their latest “commitment to diversity.” Having hired British, transgender model Munroe Bergdorf, she promptly went on a lengthy Facebook rant about white people that is as idiotic as it is ignorant. The diatribe ignores some very basic realities and buys completely into the fashionable new “race hate” language that is being popularized by the MSM. First off, here’s the text: ‘Honestly I don’t have energy to talk about the racial violence of white people any more. Yes ALL white people. ‘Because most of ya’ll don’t even realise or refuse to acknowledge...

Fake Native American Sen. Elizabeth Warren has joined other Democrat senators in calling for a ban of menthol cigarettes because they are racist. Warren added her name to the effort led by fellow Massachusetts Sen. Edward Markey and joined by Rhode Island Sens. Jack Reed and Sheldon Whitehouse and Connecticut Sen. Richard Blumenthal. In a letter to the Food and Drug Administration, the senators argued that African-Americans have the highest mortality rate of all ethnic groups due to smoking related diseases, and Menthol cigarettes pose a greater risk. The letter, signed by the senators, cited a 2011 study done by...

A Tennessee theater has canceled a long-running screening of “Gone With the Wind” because of racially insensitive content in the classic 1939 film. Officials at Memphis’ Orpheum Theatre have announced that the film will not be shown during its summer movie series in 2018. Theater president Brett Batterson says in a statement that “the Orpheum cannot show a film that is insensitive to a large segment of its local population.” […] Batterson tells the Memphis Commercial Appeal a “social media storm” played a role in the decision. …

The 2017 regular-season is less than two weeks away and Colin Kaepernick remains out of work. Depending on who you ask, the reasons vary from "he's being blackballed by the league because he knelt during the national anthem last season" (as a form of protest against social injustice, it should be noted) to "he just hasn't played well enough the last few years." Rev. Jesse Jackson firmly falls into the former category. On Friday, he said during an appearance on "Real Time with Bill Maher" that NFL owners "have colluded" to keep Kaepernick from playing. "They have decided not to...

The ACLU got a big lesson in political correctness after posting a photo of a white baby holding an American flag to its Twitter page — and has backed off after social media trolls accused the free-speech group of promoting Nazis. “This is the future that ACLU members want,” the ACLU captioned a photo of a blonde baby wearing an ACLU “free speech” onesie and holding a small American flag.

Students at Stanford University recently launched a “Disrupting Whiteness” club in an effort to end the “white liberal apathy” and “white privilege” of their peers. The club, formally known as Disrupting Whiteness: Stanford University, was founded under the leadership of recent graduate Micaela Suminski as a way to “get more students to learn about, discuss, and educate others about whiteness.”

CNN used the voices of a few professors and activists to assert anyone who voted for President Donald Trump is a white supremacist in a news report Wednesday, and to blame these “ordinary” people for the violence in Charlottesville. Trump voters helped advance white supremacy by giving them room to operate, CNN reported based on the assertions of others in a piece headlined, “‘White Supremacists by default’: How ordinary people made Charlottesville possible.” “It’s easy to focus on the angry white men in paramilitary gear who looked like they were mobilizing for a race war in the Virginia college town,”...

Are you tired of hearing about “White Supremacy”? Frankly, I am tired—really tired—of the race card dominating our national and particularly our political discourse. This is beyond childish. To wit, my fellow activists in Los Angeles County for Trump have Jewish, Black, Hispanic, and Asian members. But we still get hammered with “You are all a bunch of white supremacists!” One hateful agitator even claimed that white supremacy is not just about skin color, but ideology! Yes, in their view, men and women of non-European backgrounds can still be white supremacists. Frankly, if I had a black wife, Hispanic children,...

It is easy for golfers to “turn a blind eye to [their] privilege,” athlete claims A professional athlete has identified an unexpected source of white privilege at our institutions of higher education: the back nine. “Golf is a perfect example of the world we live in terms of the haves and have nots,” writes Anya Alvarez at Salon. Alvarez writes of discovering “the white privilege in college sports” when she learned that less-popular sports (such as golf) are often bankrolled by a university’s football and basketball programs—“the labor,” she writes, “of African-American athletes on the football and basketball teams who...

Appearing as a guest on Wednesday's CNN Newsroom, CNN senior political reporter Nia-Malika Henderson claimed that the Republican party has been "playing the race card" for "many decades" as she commented on Republican reaction to President Donald Trump's recent comments in which he seemed to give cover to white racist rally participants in Charlottesville. At 9:08 a.m. ET, after recounting Florida Republican Senator Marco Rubio's reaction to Trump's comments, Henderson continued: CNN's Henderson Claims GOP Have 'Played the Race Card' for 'Many Decades' I think you have Republicans who are going to have to figure out what they're going...

When news breaks on a mid-August Saturday, cable news bookers have to get creative on who they can get on their show. Take for example today’s awful civil and deadly unrest in Charlottesville and MSNBC’s curious booking of movie director and actor Rob Reiner. Reiner is an entertainer at heart — and has long been a loud voice of progressive activism — so many viewers of MSNBC were likely delighted to hear what he had to say to host Joy Reid. Reiner went OFF, stating that “this man has been stoking racism for many, many years” before citing Trumps very...

RUSH: New York magazine. The author of the piece here is a woman named Amy Larocca. Now, based on her last name, what would you guess her hair color is? Dark hair? Now, you probably ask, “Rush, what does that matter? Come on, don’t do this stuff. We defend you all the time and now you’re going to talk about a woman’s looks because of her name?” Yeah, but I’ll tell you why. You want to hear the headline of this story? “>a href=https://www.thecut.com/2017/08/politics-of-blonde-hair-from-persephone-to-ivanka-trump.html>The Politics of Blondness — How Fox News and Donald Trump have given blonde hair a new...

Colin Kaepernick is still a free agent, and an NFL inside source told The Daily Caller Monday that the former 49ers quarterback has no one but himself to blame. Despite the ongoing narrative that Kaepernick’s very public political views are preventing any NFL teams from offering him a roster spot, TheDC’s source claims Kaep himself has turned down at least one contract in the hopes of stirring up a media frenzy that eventually leads to a more lucrative deal for the 27 year old vet.

Under President Donald Trump’s immigration bill, today’s Miami wouldn’t exist. A vibrant metropolis heralded as a showcase for what refugees and immigrants from all over the Americas can achieve isn’t good enough for his idyllic USA (with an exclamation point).

Rep. Maxine Waters (D., Calif.) on Friday accused Harvard Law School professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz of being "racist" for saying that the Trump administration will be facing an "unfavorable" locality for a grand jury because it is "solidly Democratic" and has a "ethnic and racial composition" not favorable to Trump. Dershowitz, who has donated thousands of dollars to Democrats, told WABC radio host Rita Cosby on Friday that the new D.C. grand jury orchestrated by Special Counsel Robert Mueller is unfair to Trump. "It gives the prosecutor a tremendous tactical advantage… the case now can be brought not in Northern...
