Minneapolis police released multiple videos on Sunday of the frenetic chase that led to the fatal shooting of a 31-year-old man in an alley as he fled from officers. The video shows the chase, which lasted only about a minute from when police officers Justin Schmidt and Ryan Kelly pulled up to the scene to when Thurman Blevins was shot and killed in an alley in North Minneapolis. The officers were responding to the area after a 911 call was made saying someone was firing a gun into the air.

ATLANTA -- Atlanta Braves pitcher Sean Newcomb apologized Sunday for a series of offensive tweets he sent as a teenager, calling them "some stupid stuff.'' Paramount Pictures CEO Jim Gianopulos wrote in a memo Thursday that Amy Powell had been fired for making comments that were 'inconsistent with company values.' Ten Washington University students, all black and all incoming freshmen, were stopped by Clayton police this month while walking to a MetroLink stop from a late-night dinner and told they were suspected of leaving the IHOP restaurant without paying, university officials said. According to the images obtained by Campus Reform, the tree was located on campus and appeared to have several multi-colored plastic chains wrapped around its trunk and branches.
