The Santa Monica Police Department said they received reports that a young man pepper sprayed four or six people at the pier at about 1:20 p.m. It's unclear if that's the same person seen being detained after the incident. BEVERLY HILLS (CBSLA) — Multiple fights erupted in Beverly Hills Tuesday night as Trump supporters and protesters clashed amid the president’s arrival in Los Angeles. The fights broke out between the groups in front of the Beverly Hills Hotel after an American flag was lit on fire, reported CBSLA’s Chris Holmstrom. Beverly Hills police were in the area, and responded to each fight, ultimately having to separate the two groups. Several people were initially detained, but none were arrested following the scuffles.

(FLINT, Mich.) Four pro-life supporters from out of town, have been bound over to Genesee County circuit court on charges of trespassing and resisting arrest at a Flint Township abortion clinic. Lauren Handy of Louisiana, Will Goodman of Wisconsin and Matthew Connolly and Patrice Woodworth of Minnesota, all face felony charges. They were arrested in June, after being forcibly removed from the Women's Center Clinic in Flint Township. They were repeatedly asked to leave but lied on the ground and went limp, as officers carried them away.

Authorities in Colorado restored an American flag to its place Friday evening after protesters demonstrating outside a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility pulled down the star-spangled banner and flew the flag of Mexico in its place. The protesters also removed a “Blue Lives Matter” flag, honoring law enforcement, spray-painted it with the words “Abolish ICE,” then raised the flag upside-down, on a pole next to the Mexican flag, according to local media.

Baltimore Police on Wednesday arrested students who locked down the Johns Hopkins University main administration building as part of an ongoing protest over the creation of a private police force and the university’s contracts with ICE.
