ABOARD USS SALVOR, Gulf of Thailand (NNS) -- The rescue and salvage ship USS Salvor (ARS 52) and divers of Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit (MDSU) 1 arrived June 11 at the site in the Gulf of Thailand presumed to be the resting place of the WWII–era USS Lagarto (SS 371) and its crew. Chinese Hacker Sentenced to Death for Embezzlement A 36-year old hacker was sentenced to death in Hangzhou recently by the Ningbo Intermediate Court in east China's Zhejiang Province for embezzling over one million yuan (US$120,000) of public money from a bank account. A senior official said that this is the most severe punishment that a Chinese judicial organization has given to a hacker.
