Emmett Township Public Safety Officer Ben Hall is being called a hero because he didn't give a 25-year-old mom a ticket after pulling her over because her daughter was in the backseat without a booster seat. Officer Hall saw Lexi de Lorenzo driving near downtown Battle Creek with her daughter in the back seat. She had a seatbelt on but Michigan law requires a booster seat for children less than 8 years old.

RED HOOK, N.Y. — A Red Hook police officer saved the life of a two-year-old boy after stopping the father’s vehicle. Sgt. Patrick Hildenbrand stopped the speeding vehicle, prompting the father Matthew Morgan to exit the vehicle, frantic about his lifeless son. Hildenbrand put the father and his son in the backseat of his SUV and headed to the hospital at full speed, calling ahead to alert the medical staff

SHENANDOAH, Texas - A quick-thinking, local police officer protected a string of drivers from a car going the wrong way on the highway. Shenandoah police Sgt. Gary Sharpen started zig-zagging back and fourth on Interstate 45 northbound when the Montgomery County Sheriff's deputies called saying there was a driver headed the wrong way against traffic Friday night.
