It appears that Talk Radio Network and America’s Radio News Network may have ceased operations. A number of staffers have posted comments that they were let go on Friday without notice, while the following press release was issued by an anonymous TRN staffer today: Media giant Mark Masters is suspending operations at the Oregon-based Talk Radio Network, which launched “The Michael Savage Show” and other high profile programming. After Premiere Radio Networks separated from The Phil Hendrie Show, the show was out of national syndication for over a year. Sometime after that, a representative of Phil Hendrie approached TRN about a new syndication deal, which would re-launch Phil back into the terrestrial syndication marketplace. The Cincinnati Enquirer’s John Kiesewetter is reporting that WQRT (1160) will feature the new Washington Times morning show (6-9am), Laura Ingraham (9 – noon), Neal Boortz (noon – 2pm), Dave Ramsey (2 -5pm), Dr. Laura (5 -8 pm), Jerry Doyle (8-10pm), Rusty Humphries (10pm – 1am), and Phil Hendrie (1-4am). This is Dr. Laura’s return to the market, since she was dropped at WKRC-AM last year. Jon Yinger-owned WQRT is taking the place of Oldies WDJO at 1160. Casey Sheehan was a re-enlistee with the Army's 1st Cavalry. He knew he was going to fight. He understood that. He embraced it. He fought like a soldier.
