The number of migrants flocking to the US-Mexico border from a country known as a hotbed of ISIS recruitment has skyrocketed under President Biden. More than 1,500 migrants from Tajikistan are known to have crossed the border between October 2020 and May 2024, according to leaked border dated obtained by The Post. At least 500 Tajiks have been caught so far this year. Over the previous 14 years there were just 26 Tajik nationals crossing the border. It’s unknown how many of the Tajik migrants were released into the US, but the vast majority of migrants caught at the border...

While Americans spent Thursday celebrating the birth of our great nation, pro-Hamas mobs gathered in Dem cities to show how much they hate us and everything we stand for. In cities like Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and New York, pro-Hamas protestors burned American flags, set off smoke bombs to block people from enjoying the fireworks, and, in at least one case, allegedly physically assaulted a young man wearing the American flag as a cape.

A cadre of pro-Palestinian protesters disrupted July 4th fireworks in New York City as they paraded through the streets while burning American flags and chanting anti-Israel rhetoric. Video of the march went live on Thursday, sparking ongoing concerns about the sudden rise in anti-Jewish sentiments that have erupted over the past year. This is not a video from the 1938 Kristallnacht in Germany. This is a video from July 4th Independence Day in New York as a terrifying mob march through the streets waving flames in a show of force against Jews. pic.twitter.com/cVc8Xa3Xk3 — Oli London (@OliLondonTV) July 5, 2024...

As Independence Day approaches each year, I make a habit of finding a patriotic movie or two to pop into the DVD player to watch with the kids. This year, we began with Gods and Generals, that beautiful but flawed epic of the first two years of the Civil War. The film contrasts the career of Confederate General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson with that Union General Joshua Chamberlain, and while focusing on these two, it introduces several other figures as bit players. One of these who showed up during the Battle of Fredericksburg was St. Clair Augustin Mulholland. When his name...

President Biden told a black radio station in an interview released Thursday that he understood their struggle for representation — because he didn’t think Catholics could be president before John F. Kennedy was elected more than six decades ago. Biden, 81, told Pennsylvania radio host Andrea Lawful-Sanders that he knew what his nomination of Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court meant to “a young girl who is in school and having trouble.” “I looked at John Kennedy and said, ‘Well, he — John — he got elected. Why can’t I get elected?'” the president said. “People need things to...

President Joe Biden’s debate performance was a disaster. His disjointed responses and dazed look sparked calls for him to drop out of the presidential race. But lost in the hand wringing was Donald Trump’s usual bombastic litany of lies, hyperbole, bigotry, ignorance, and fear mongering. His performance demonstrated once again that he is a danger to democracy and unfit for office. In fact, the debate about the debate is misplaced. The only person who should withdraw from the race is Trump. Yes, Biden had a horrible night. He’s 81 and not as sharp as he used to be. But Biden...

The conservancy that oversees the SS United States has launched an urgent $500,000 fundraising campaign to help cover relocation expenses for the historic ship amid its uncertain future. The 1,000-foot ocean liner, which still holds the transatlantic speed record it set more than 70 years ago, must leave its berth on the Delaware River in Philadelphia by Sept. 12, a federal judge ruled earlier this month. Besides finding a new home, the conservancy also must obtain funds for insurance, tugs, surveys and dock preparations for moving the ship, which is incapable of self-propulsion. The group is focusing its efforts on...

A young supporter of Donald Trump was brought to tears at a campaign stop when the former president stopped to meet with him, as he was dressed like his twin. Before speaking to Philadelphia voters at Temple University on Saturday, Trump made a pit stop at Tony and Nick’s Steaks where the viral encounter happened. A video with nearly five million views shows a boy donning a blue suit and blonde wig grinning from ear-to-ear as the Republican addressed him and presented him with a signed $20 bill. “You know who that is? That’s Andrew Jackson,” Trump could be heard...

In a video shared to X by Margo Martin, Trump’s deputy director of communications, Trump can be seen writing on a check at Tony and Nick’s Steaks, and saying, “No tax on tips” as people in the background can be heard cheering. “No tax on tips!” Trump says. Former President Donald Trump has made it a point to do something that most, if not all, previous Republican presidential candidates have failed to do in recent years: actively engage the black American community and try to earn their vote. On Saturday, in Philadelphia, Trump is doing exactly that by holding a rally in a predominantly “black and brown” (as the Left likes to say) neighborhood. And it seems to be a historic rally given that no other Republican candidate has seemingly held such a campaign event in such a neighborhood in Philadelphia in recent memory.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The SS United States, a historic ship that still holds the transatlantic speed record it set more than 70 years ago, must leave its berth on the Delaware River in Philadelphia by Sept. 12, a federal judge says. The decision issued Friday by U.S. District Judge Anita Brody culminated a years-old rent dispute between the conservancy that oversees the 1,000-foot ocean liner and its landlord, Penn Warehousing. It stemmed from an August 2021 decision by Penn Warehousing to double the ship's daily dockage to $1,700, an increase the conservancy refused to accept. When the conservancy continued to...

A man riding a dirt bike was shot by an officer with the Philadelphia Police Department's ATV enforcement unit, according to officials. Just after 3 p.m., uniformed police officers were following a dirt bike rider in North Philadelphia, according to Deputy Commissioner Mike Cram. The deputy commissioner said that the rider pulled into a gated area once he realized officers were tailing him. When one of the officers approached the rider at 6th and Somerset streets, the officer explained to the rider that what he was doing was illegal in the city of Philadelphia, Cram explained. During this conversation, the...

Gianni Matteo was born and raised in a family of Democrats in South Philadelphia, but the 20-year-old is a big Trump fan. “The working class doesn’t really care about which foreign enemy we should be fighting in countries most Americans can’t even name,” Matteo said outside of a newly opened office for former President Donald Trump in Holmesburg on Tuesday. “They care about why I have to work two jobs this summer, why I have no money in my pocket to take my girlfriend on dates.” As the presidential campaign barrels toward November, several polls have shown the gap in...

The suspects are originally from Tajikistan, and they also have Russian citizenship, according to the Post. Anonymous ICE officials told the newspaper a wiretap revealed one of the suspects talking about bombs. 'Remember the Boston marathon [bombing]? I'm afraid something like that might happen again or worse,' one official told The Post....

PHILADELPHIA—As a boy, Nathan Clark developed a fear that he would lose his limbs and be unable to fish and crab with his grandfather. Today, Clark is a triple amputee. He lost his limbs after using fentanyl and xylazine, an animal tranquilizer also known as “tranq” that rots flesh and bone. Less than five years after xylazine showed up in his dope bag, the 29-year-old can’t bathe or use the toilet on his own. “When they cut my legs off, the bone was black,” Clark said. The rise of xylazine in the illicit drug supply is creating a generation of...
