Ex-Olympic skater and current NBC commentator for the Sochi games Johnny Weir is not shy about protesting Russia's homosexual laws live on air, if his wardrobe has anything to say about it. Weir has appeared with full makeup -- blush, lipstick, etc. -- as well as silk blouses and gaudy jewelry. Hairstyles have ranged from piled on top to a braided tiara (seen below). This was his plan from the beginning...

What Democrats might say to in support of Woody Allen Let's have some fun with this. I'll start, and look forward to other Freeper contributions: Bill Clnton: He did not have sex with that woman Hillary Clinton: What difference at this point does it make? Alert parents are becoming aware that sexual abuse of students by teachers is not just an occasional problem rather something that is happening in every state in America. However some administrators choose to ignore sexual misconduct and even when it is discovered perpetrators often go unpunished.

End of Title: . . . to pay family billsThe mother of a student who was kicked out of high school after starring in gay porn to help pay his family's bills said she couldn't be prouder. Melyssa Lieb, from Cocoa, Florida, said she vehemently supports her son, 18-year-old Robert Marucci, who was suspended from his high school after classmates discovered his explicit career. 'I think he's the most awesome person in the world,' she told WKMG through tears. 'He stood up and he was the man of the house when I couldn't be.' Following outrage over his suspension, the...

Two of the most powerful unions in the country have voiced objections to a bill that would provide better background checks for teachers, Campbell Brown writes in a Thursday Wall Street Journal column. After the Government Accountability Office found “hundreds of potential cases of registered sex offenders working in schools” across the United States in 2010, the House passed a bill that would streamline the vetting process and close inconsistencies across state lines. The bill is a common sense measure, according to Campbell, yet powerful teachers unions are opposed to the new standards. Anyone with violent or sexual convictions against...

Pedophilia has been widely viewed as a psychological disorder triggered by early childhood trauma. Now, many experts see it as a biologically rooted condition that does not change — like a sexual orientation — thanks largely to a decade of research by Dr. James Cantor at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. Cantor’s team has found that pedophiles share a number of physical characteristics, including differences in brain wiring. It’s now thought that about 1 to 5 per cent of men are pedophiles, meaning they are primarily attracted to children. These findings have been widely accepted among scientists, but...

The director of technology for the Steubenville, Ohio, schools pleaded not guilty Wednesday to charges that he obstructed an investigation into the rape last year of a teenage girl by two high school football players who were later convicted. William Rhinaman, 53, was indicted on obstruction of justice, evidence tampering and perjury charges, all felonies, and obstructing official business, a misdemeanor - the first charges brought by a special grand jury that was launched after the rape trial. The case drew national attention to Steubenville, which is about 40 miles west of Pittsburgh, after online postings of a photo and...

ATLANTA (AP) -- A south Georgia teacher accused of engaging in sex acts with a teen while knowing he was HIV-positive has been indicted by a grand jury. A five-count indictment filed Wednesday charges 29-year-old Phillip Marquis Burns with child molestation, aggravated child molestation, reckless conduct, child enticement and criminal solicitation. The indictment says Burns masturbated and had oral sex with a 16-year-old boy and asked another boy to send him explicit pictures of himself. Dougherty County court clerk officials say Burns is being represented by Willie C. Weaver, who also serves as a City of Albany Municipal Court judge....

And, like too many other arbitrators, Edelman makes it a priority to find ways to keep teachers in classrooms, with little apparent consideration of the impact on schools or students. This is most evident, and troubling, in sexual misconduct cases. In a breakthrough 2005 agreement, the union and DOE inserted language into the teachers contract stipulating “a mandatory penalty of discharge” to any union member “found by a hearing officer to have engaged in sexual misconduct.”

If you want to molest children in California, a word of advice: Make sure you have a good union. California has enacted a number of changes — one cannot call them “reforms” with a straight face — to its electoral system of late, notable among them the creation of an “independent commission” to draw up electoral districts and the institution of a top-two primary system, in which primary elections are putatively nonpartisan and the top two vote-getters face off in the general election, regardless of party. The outcome, wholly foreseeable, has been to strengthen the position of Democrats as a...

Bryan Eberly presented with rainbow flag as mark of service: 'It took everything in my power not to burst into tears' ... He did not officially come out in the marines until repeal day, when he brought cupcakes into work and said: "Oh, by the way, I'm gay. Happy repeal day!" His announcement received nearly as big a reaction as the arrival of surprise cupcakes in the office. ... The flag will be framed and put on the wall of his or his father's living room. When his dad first saw the photo of the flag, he said he was...

In a controversy that threatened to overshadow the 30th anniversary of Dallas’ gay Pride parade, some LGBT activists expressed outrage this week after organizers reminded participants about the need for the event to be family-friendly and said nudity and lewd behavior will no longer be tolerated.... Jeremy Liebbe, a detective sergeant at Dallas Independent School District, will oversee 95 officers from DPD and DISD as co-commander of security for the parade and festival. Liebbe, who’s gay, said any floats in violation of indecency standards will be warned in the lineup on Wycliff Avenue prior to the parade. If they fail...

SAN ANTONIO—Gay rights victories in Texas haven’t come at the Capitol but at city hall. While nondiscrimination bills in the Legislature languish, Houston has a lesbian mayor and Austin offers health benefits for same-sex couples. But in San Antonio, conservatives are pushing back against one proposed stride—an ordinance that’s virtually identical to measures adopted in every other major Texas city. The San Antonio City Council is expected to vote today on amending its nondiscrimination code to include protections for sexual orientation and gender identity. The local issue has drawn top-line Republican opposition from such heavyweights as U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz...

Police said that Lohr sometimes held a knife to the child's throat and, if the boy resisted, threw things at him and threatened to kill him and his siblings if he told anyone. “I was shocked because, apparently, he'd been on the board for some time now,” said Greene County Commissioner Chuck Morris, a nonmember representative on the CYS board. Morris said he joined the board only recently and doesn't know Lohr well. “I know it certainly shocked the people over at Human Services,” which runs the program. The program placed four children with the Lohrs 10 years ago, police...

A Palm Beach County family went public yesterday with ugly allegations of sexual abuse at West Palm Hospital. According to a lawsuit recently filed in circuit court, a troubled 9-year-old boy voluntarily submitted to the facility for psychological observation was abused by a hospital staffer known as "Mr. Dan." If that's not bad enough on its own legs, the family's lawyer says the alleged abuser had previously been arrested in 2005 for exposing himself in a Lake Worth park. But the earlier pinch wasn't caught by the hospital's administration. "It just violates the basic safety rules, starting with the fact...

OKLAHOMA CITY - Ten men are arrested after another undercover sex sting near Lake Hefner. A couple of the men arrested are "repeat offenders." You might wonder why any of the men arrested would ever take a chance coming back out to Hobie Point, but they do. We talked to one of them in order to get some insight, but agreed to protect his identity in the process. . . . Many parents are concerned that this kind of adult activity is happening so close to where their children come to play.

In January of last year, Roman Sidorenko and Alexander Kukhtenko had an idea to break their sexual dry spells the way they solved many of their other problems: with an app. "We wanted an easy way to find sex, basically," says Sidorenko. But the two friends (who describe themselves as "pomosexuals") were too impatient to use the available dating apps on the market, all of which required them to spend hours flirting with potential flings via chat or text message before getting a date and, possibly, sealing the deal. They knew there were horny people around them looking for sex...

SAN DIEGO — It’s January 2015, and a newly elected House member from California walks side by side with his male partner to be sworn into office in Washington. The young lawmaker is a supporter of same-sex marriage. He believes the government should keep abortion legal. He considers himself an environmentalist. He's also a Republican. . . Despite his potential of being a maverick if he makes it to Congress, DeMaio is not a fringe candidate. He has early support from the party establishment — the National Republican Congressional Committee, the official party group responsible for electing Republicans to the...
